I requested a lake view room and was not disappointed by the view. The room itself was well maintained though some of the repair work was visible to anyone looking. For example, the door frame had been recently painted and as such, made a horrid noise whenever it opened up until the last day we stayed, because the paint had peeled away. In the bathroom, there was a tiny pinhole in the ceiling where either a nail/screw or god forbid a small camera, over the sink. The custodial staff also didn't clean the room our 2nd day. I know that cleaning processes have changed since the pandemic but the expectation I had is that rooms would be cleaned every day, but it is what it is. My only gripe about a hotel amenity is that the pool was overrun with adults playing music, smoking and drinking as if it was their own personal resort. And while that is their right, it was not a welcoming place for my small child which made me change our plans for the day. We ended up at the beach and honestly was a better experience overall considering what a short drive it was from the hotel.
The majority of the front desk staff were friendly. They answered any questions qith confidence and were very engaging with my small child.
Lastly, the ac unit was annoyingly loud. We kept it at a certain temperature but because the room stayed so humid, it would turn on and off multiple times throughout the day and night causing us to adjust the tv volume every single time.

Location was great beds were a little hard coffee maker in the room was loud, so couldn’t use it if somebody else was still sleeping in the morning do not offer coffee downstairs until Resturant opens front desk was not very friendly asked for places to go in. Jacksonville was handed a book of restaurant staff were all very friendly, especially Gabby Xavier. Mike and the woman who worked overnight on 2-19/20 was amazing. The manager was very polite and made me a cup of coffee so I didn’t have to wake up family in the room. in the facility last woman who works at the front desk made me a coffee two days in a row so I didn’t have to wake up family at 530 am in the room, overall convenient location and all housekeepers were wonderful. I believe one of the women at the front desk was named Chandra and she was very combative when you asked a question explaining that she only works on the weekends and she doesn’t know anything and starting to bring other workers into the conversation, instead of saying yes, or no for the question. which made it a very uncomfortable environment

My daughter and her family were traveling with us, they tested positive for Covid, did not get a full refund. For this reason, I probably will not stay at this hotel in the future

Everything about this place was simply well done. Where do I start...? It is different form other hotels I've stayed at. The service was welcoming, personable and outstanding. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the beds were great and we slept well. Our room did not have a bathtub, just the shower...and it was AMAZING! If you can, get a room on a higher floor, with a lake view....it is just a pretty view. Try to be away from the vending machines and HVAC units if possible; I understand it can be a little noisier over there (as is the case in ANY hotel). The hotel is in the Tapestry Park center, which has a number of additional dining choices, and they are all within a pleasant five minute walk. Having said that...try to book a room with breakfast included, as the in-hotel lounge/bar/restaurant is actually very good, and the breakfasts were delicious! If you like steak and eggs...having the breakfast included is a particularly great value! ;-) Enjoy! One potential downside? The hotel allows pets. If you are allergic to pets, it is possible this could be an issue, as could be barking, I suppose. It did not affect our stay in the least, and we would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to friends, family and business associates.
