Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville Butler Boulevard

My husband and I was trying to check in at the hotel around 2am in the morning. We drove 4 hours to get there from South Carolina. The lady who was working that night was so rude. She didn’t let us check in and or helped us out at all. So we ended up having to cancel our hotel at 2 in the morning and had to drive 4 hours back to South Carolina because all the other hotels in Jacksonville were sold out. Never in my life I ever experienced this. This left a bad taste in my mouth. She really messed up our mini vacation. We wanted a mini vacation before our child is due in less than 2 months.

As always, the staff treat us like family. It feels home.

The room set up was nice for parents & kids. The one bedroom provided privacy. The location was great. Not too far from everything.

The suite was spacious. My family were very pleased with the layout and comfort. I will probably make this my go to hotel no matter what state I vacation in from now on.

We enjoyed almost everything except for some of the other guests who dominated the pool area and had kids who repeated splashed other guests in spite of requests. I understand there's not much you could do about that. All your staff were great, especially the lady running breakfast who took a personal interest in our breakfast experience. Great, convenient parking.

My family was in town for a dance competition, hosted by UNF. We had a two bedroom suite and it was awesome! It even had a fireplace! There was plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of one another. My husband and I were both able to work on our computers and my daughter was face-timing a friend - all at the same time and no problems with connections. This hotel is super conveniently located as well! Very close to lots of restaurants, a Publix, and any store you can think of. I really, really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be a repeat customer. And before I forget... my daughter was not feeling well during the night and the night manager was so sweet and helpful when I came to the front desk to see if there was some medicine at the "Market" there... and there was! Saved the day/night!

Great experience, my family and I were greeted by great customer service. Mrs Jennifer at the front desk made our check-in the most easiest process ever. Clean and spacious rooms.
