My bathroom was not cleaned properly. Certain hairs* were on the floor and wall of the shower. The fridge was not working properly and the defrost cycle completely melted into my food rendering it inedible. This was reported to the front desk attendant with photos and the lady asked why I didn’t report it then. (Answer: it was a sold out night, after midnight when my children and I returned to the room, and we were only staying that one night.) Nothing was offered as compensation - only a half hearted apology.

I stayed at this hotel during Hurricane Ian. Was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was and would recommend it for family and friends when they travel to Jacksonville. The staff is terrific and the public spaces are very nice. One side of the hotel faces the highway and is noisier; a white noise app on my phone covered it nicely. The back side (where a friend stayed) is super quiet and faces a residential neighborhood. The rooms are well appointed and spacious.
