DoubleTree by Hilton Sonoma - Wine Country

We planned a family staycation hoping to use the pool. The pool is advertised as "heated" but unfortunately it is not. Overall the hotel is dated and needs repair, there are many newer options nearby. Avoid this location.

We were in town for our son's wedding reception. It was convenient to the boutique winery and easy access for other friends and family. They accommodated my parents by setting them up in a room right next to ours. Generally speaking, I don't appreciate paying for parking, but it was easy. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. The reception staff was excellent! Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful lobby, great restaurant, easy parking, great location, perfect for families with kids.

it was a quick family getaway for one night, here's what i think: - the staff were friendly and very helpful - room was not very clean, a little bit outdated, bathroom was kind of old style, didn't smell right to me -kids enjoyed swimming pool and hot tub, pool was heated so this is a plus. -you can walk around the golf course and enjoy the green scenery -location is very good as it is just few minutes away from different restaurants, it also took 9 minutes to get to Santa Rosa donwtown. -we booked via Expedia and it had the option for Breakfast for $20 extra fee, for $20 you get to order breakfast items up to $25 per adult for 2 adults, kids will have to pay separate depending on their age, i guess under 10 you pay half price. -we were there on a Sunday, so it was Breakfast Buffet, food was not that good, it felt a little bit old. -we spent sometime at the lobby at night, it felt very vibrant and nice, they have Jinga, Checkers and a billiardo table so it was pretty nice. -basic Wifi is free -there is a $75 deposit when you check in and you pay $16 for Parking not sure if this is per night or per stay. -per Expedia check in is at 3, when we arrived they said check in at this location is 4 but the staff was very friendly and gave us the keys earlier overall it was an ok stay, if you are looking for a family friendly stay this is a good place.

The place seemed fancy. It was was very nice but geared more towards the boushy type. You pay for fancy or that feel of expensive and thats what you get. Nothing wrong with that but I'm more frugal. I'd rather get buffet breakfast or have a microwave in the room. I guess its just not economical for me. But it was very nice and clean and my kids loved the heated pool and hot tub. Nothing notably wrong but probably would choose a different place next time.

Great hotel for a family time

We were only there one night for Thanksgiving at my daughter's. The hotel was the perfect place. Clean, close by, free parking, free cookie at checkin, and wonderfully comfortable beds. Slept like a baby. Very friendly staff.

Some complaints about noise, there was noise from our room. Walls are thin, Also complaints about pool noise at 9:45, but only 2 kids in pool talking. Maybe some guests were just too stuffy & wanted to complain I don’t know. Hotel was nice. Suggestion: coffee bar or similar to offer coffee, instead of waiting in a long line in restaurant.

Excellent personal attention. My kids loved the pool and snacks.
