Great hotel kids loved the pond. Feeding the fish turtles and duck they named George was the best. No complaints about hotel at all.

Wasn’t expecting an older Ramada but overall well kept property. Staff was very nice. I appreciate being placed on 1st floor with young children. I would stay again.

They are clean, quiet. And also have a fresh air with trees surrounding. I really like to stay here with family and will recommend to my friends.

I am usually super picky about hotels and poured over reviews to find somewhere for a short (one night) stay in Santa Barbara. I usually stay downtown, but didn't need anything fancy for our family of four that were there for a track-meet with our kids. The hotel was VERY deceiving from the front, the building was old and a little run down looking. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we got into the hotel. The interior doesn't match the exterior, they have clearly done some recent renovations and the rooms were spacious, very clean, modern and really nicely decorated. We had the breakfast the next morning and the dining room was again clean, modern and breakfast was basic but great! I would definitely stay here again for a short overnight stay with the family. I was really pleasantly surprised. My number one priority for hotels is cleanliness and this place definitely hit the mark.

We have stayed here many times, because both kids are/were UCSB students. I must say, the Ramada has really raised their game compared to our first stay 4 years ago. First of all, the renovations are great. The grounds were always stellar with great views of the pool, lagoon (and its wildlife) from the interior rooms. Now the rooms are much more welcoming, comfortable, and stylish. Best thing, though, is that the staff is much kinder, friendlier, and helpful than in previous visits. They are very pandemic-aware, with a grab-and-go bagged breakfast, which, while not our kind of food, we appreciated the effort. There are tables by the pool which allowed us to eat our takeout while staying safely distanced from our college kid, who we were visiting. Also, the Blink charger was useful for topping up our car.

We were only at this hotel for one night but we really enjoyed our stay. The pool was lovely, the kids were in it most of the time. Santa Barbara is only a short drive away and has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

An old style but up-to-date and comfortable place to stay in Santa Barbara. The central courtyard with the trees and pond is lovely and very well maintained, as is the hotel itself. First class, friendly and capable front-desk staff. No fitness center and the meeting areas are limited so best for families and leisure. Ask about the discounts to other local businesses.

Rooms very clean and modern-ish, they look to have been remodeled in last few years. I was on the side facing the parking lot, the other side faces the pool and pond area. (I did not know that while checking in or would have requested the green side - I didn't end up using the balcony as it faced the lot where people smoke etc. Just mentioning that in case you plan to use the balcony).
All staff I encountered were nice. Decent continental breakfast. Love the ducks, especially the one with a mohawk :)
I was here for three days for a family get together, I travel often for business and normally use other hotel chains so unfamiliar with Ramada, but was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. Recommended!

Hotel property was nice, kids loved the ducks onsite. My only complaint was the beds. Gave me a back ache
