Best Western Plus Santa Barbara

Our two bedroom apartment was perfect for our needs, travelling with two teens and one younger child. It was great to have the spacious lounge area to relax in. Everything in the kitchen and bathroom was in full working order. The pool area was also a nice place to spend an hour or two and you could buy drinks from the bar and take them back to your sunbeds. A little bit further out of town but this wasn't a problem for us and we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Unique area away from the hub of touristy areas but also near a hospital so street in front is rather busy but also had no trouble sleeping. Nice area for the hot tub away from the pool and kids. Very attentive and friendly front desk staff.

Nice place to stay with family

This hotel is so bad, my family decided NOT to stay. I was told our room had been "upgraded" to a full apartment. The apartment had a very, very strong musty odor. ie mold. It was a very, very worn and dated apartment. Then I was given our original room. This was also very old, dated, and had an odor. I was then offered an updated room with a king but there were 3 of us so that wouldn't work. Finally I was offered another room with 2 queens but it wouldn't be updated. My family decided it wasn't safe to stay in a moldy room. We ended our vacation a day early and drove home. NO refund of my hotel.com points ($436) or my payment of $170.

Jose at the reception was able to accommodate my request for different room,nice of him. I liked that there’s coffee/tea service at the reception area 23 hrs. Hotel was a bit far from State Street but it was nice to be in a residential area where its quiet. The children enjoyed the pool and hot tub and i liked that their cafe is accessible to the pool area,so organizing the food was handy and tables available at the pool area.

Solid budget hotel for family. It had everything we needed and the nearby restaurant was great. The room was a bit dated with a bit of a funny cleaning product smell. However, everything was clean and we had a great time.

We stayed in the two room with kitchen family suite for three nights. Very large & spacious, front desk said it was an old apartment. Beds were comfortable, bathroom is small. We had trouble with the oven not working and heaters but they sent maintenance up at the issue was fixed right away. Only issue is parking is a challenge, not many spots and they fill up at night so if you are out at night you might have to park a long ways from your room. The hotel is spread out over multiple buildings. The onsite restaurant is fabulous, serving breakfast & lunch. Pool is nice as well as hot tub. Hotel is old, with old beautiful trees & flowers and has been well maintained. This was our 2nd time here. Staff is EXTRA friendly!!

We stayed here once before & had an ok experience. This time was much improved- we were given a more updated room & the desk staff was very friendly & accommodating. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean & quiet. We really love the location because it is close to our family that we were visiting

Check-in was fairly simple and smooth. We were in the one bedroom suite with a kitchen. Alliances and the unit were older, but everything was nicely maintained. No issues with the facilities. Having 4 small kids, it was nice and convenient having the kitchen right there in our room. The unit was private, and everything very clean. Pool was heated, which made my kids happy because they could go swimming even on a cool day (still not warm enough for me to get in with them)!

The room itself was nice - modern and spacious. The pool is small and overlooked by the hotel café/restaurant - so not much privacy. During the day it is usually occupied by families. The hotel is rather far away from Santa Barbara's main attractions. However, considering the price points of other establishments in the area, it is a reasonable option.
