The room was very outdated. I was under the impression that we booked a refurbished room but ours was not in updated condition. Beds were not comfortable, air conditioner was VERY LOUD, buzzing sound all night, carpet was dirty and our kids feet were black from walking on the rug. Pool and spa were nice. Sliding door to grass area was convenient and fun for kids to go outside. Location convenient to UCSB, SBCC, and downtown.

It is an older hotel, and they are remodeling. The breakfast room was closed.
However, they have a lovely green courtyard with a kidney-shaped pool and a hot tub. We had a great time relaxing before exploring State Street.
The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. The bathroom was clean.
We had breakfast at Farmer Boy nearby and highly recommend it.

Convenient EV charging and the beds were comfortable.
However the shower could be better, it kept going from hot to cold. The sink faucet had scalding hot water which became a safety issue for our kids washing their hands.

This property is old. The rooms are dark and dingy with old carpeting old fixtures everything about it is just old and dingy. The people at the front desk were lovely and wonderful however, I would not stay here again. The pictures online make it look so much nicer than it actually really is.
I was woken up at 6 AM by crying babies and screaming children in the next room, which is no one’s fault. It’s just bad luck. I left the property at about 7:30 AM just to get out of there. I could not wait to leave, there is nothing luxurious about this place. I won’t be back.

Perfect for our one night stay before a medical procedure at Cottage Hospital. Might want to bring the grandkids back to play in the pool.

Had a few days to do business in Santa Barbara. 2nd time staying here nice hotel. Nice clean rooms not to big or to small if your traveling with a family member or not. Close to restaurants and shops. Everything you need and a short little drive to downtown area. Also close enough to UCSB which is a plus if you have a child attending school and are not from the area. Would and will stay here again when need be.

This property is being remodeled and our room was nice, however we had some kind of leak coming from the closet area, and there was a large gap under our door at the bottom that was perfect for bugs and cold air to get in. The worst was our neighbors, 5-6 loud drunks both nights and the hotel did nothing for us. They were going strong after 1 am. Hotel response was well, you booked with Expedia and we can’t do anything for you. Not happy as these drunk asshats were slamming doors and yelling. Called the desk twice on Saturday night, I would have been happy if they would’ve thrown us out for complaining and giving us our money back. Instead nothing happened to these kids, we lost sleep and apparently their hands are tied. DON’T BOOK THSI PLACE, THEIR RESPONSE SUCKS AND IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THEY DON’T CARE IF YOU CAN’T SLEEP BECAUSE OF OTHER GUESTS. I am really not happy with the hotel response and I don’t know what Expedia will do. There is a nice courtyard and we had 2 chairs and a little table but our F’ing neighbors were using during the night and then up at 7:30-8:00 sitting on our patio.

Front desk staff was friendly. Pool and hot tub are fine. However the rooms are very old, carpet had stains, bad plumbing, loud AC units in each room. Very noisy guests next door kept us up most of the night. Have no idea what they were doing, but kept going in and out of their room and slamming the door. A person yelled out obscenities in the morning as they walked around the hotel grounds. The room was expensive. Not recommended at all for families.

Rooms are run down with zero sound proofing. Within 10 mins of arriving, we had to move our room as we could hear everything that was being said in the next room. It’s their interconnecting door that causes the problem.
Breakfast was extremely disappointing. There black table cloths were dirty, so was the floor and you were expected to sit on old office swivel chairs. There was zero supervision which resulted in one noisy family steeling food from the breakfast bar. That experience has put my off Best Western for life
