Sandcastle Hotel on the Beach

Can’t beat the location. Room was nice. Hotel staff gave kids beach buckets at check-in, they loved this. Would stay here again.

Just steps from the beach, we loved our stay at the Sandcastle Inn. The Deck (lounge restaurant onsite) had quick light bites available almost all day with great views. The hotel has bikes available to rent and an excellent location with a small parking lot for self park. The room was clean and had a comfy bed and a mini fridge, the bathroom was a tad small and the walls between rooms/hallways were super thin. I had a couple work conferences during the day and the people in my zoom call could hear the rowdy children thru the wall next door. I would stay again for a beach visit where I don't plan on having to work from the room most of the day!

The biggest positive for this hotel is the location- right on the beach; and for our particular room, the ocean view! The other positives were that it is within easy walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants. The fire pits with seating on the patio overlooking the beach are very nice and inviting. The staff was friendly and accommodating, including housekeeping. The parking was convenient. The only negatives are small ones, only mentioned as feedback for the best guest experience: the rooms are pretty basic, not what you may call "luxury accommodations." However, they were clean and adequate. The bathroom is small and has some things that could be improved on: there is no wall-mounted towel ring or bar for use of a hand towel at the sink/vanity; all the towels are on hanging on bars mounted on the back wall of the shower/tub itself. The toilet tissue roll holder is oddly placed under the vanity, where it's easy to bump into it, causing the roll to fall on the floor. The vanity doesn't go all the way to the walls; there's about a 4-inch gap on both sides, so toiletries can fall into the gap and onto the floor. The Deck cafe is the only on-site restaurant and has limited seating and menu (and no real kids menu.) However, the food they do offer is good. While the cafe staff gave good service, we found it odd that they closed for a 30 minute break in the evenings some time between 5:00 and 6:00. (Perhaps staggered staff breaks could be implented.)

The hotel was right on the beach, and was very small and cute looking. The rooms were a bit on the tiny side, but overall fit the need for our little family of three that was staying for the night. The easy access to the beach, with a slight beach view was quite nice as well. We needed a pack n play in our room for our infant and the hotel staff was super friendly in not only bringing one to the room, but also helping us set it up after we had issues with getting it to stay correctly.

Great place to stay, very family friendly!

The property was located in front of the beach so it was easy for my family to get things off the car and walk to the beach. The hotel provides you with beach towels and beach toys for children. When the sun was setting we were able to go outside to the hotel deck and enjoy the view of the sunset. My kids loved waking up in the morning to scenery.

I love the hotel and the staff are so friendly too. What I didn't like is the room are not sound proof. We are in second floor and we could hear the footsteps of the kids running around on the 3rd floor at 10:00pm. We were only able to sleep quietly when the kids were sleeping too and that time I have a headache too.

An amazing place to stay so close to the beach. Had a patio which made it easy to listen to the waves. Staff so so nice and for us the out door patio and bad with fire pits was so relaxing !! Recommend this hotel to many family members

My husband is handicap and can’t do sand. So he sat on the patio and watched the kids on the beach. You get the beach experience without the sand.

Ocean front hotel with friendly accommodating staff. Cute outdoor deck with fireplaces. We purchased a s’more kit from the front desk very convenient. My family and I enjoyed our stay will definitely be back.
