Holiday Inn Express And Suites San Jose Airport, an IHG Hotel

It went well until breakfast when a curling fan fell and almost hit A child. Several of us guests complained to the front desk and they said and I quote it’s not my problem that’s maintenance. Not one staff checked on the child or the safety of others the panel is still on the floor.. and then there’s the elevator it’s a scary ride that stalls

The first room they gave us when we checked in was a room with an adjoining door. We could see light around the door coming from the other room and the family next door was quite loud. We could plainly hear their voices and it sounded like they were in the room with us. We were going to be so my husband went to the front desk and told them about the situation and they moved us to another room.

The hotel was clean and safe, which is a priority when traveling with my family. The only critique I have about this property was that the breakfast was not very good. I try to book hotels where breakfast is included because of the convenience. I had just come from another Holiday Inn in Santa Cruz, where no items were missing or lacking. At this property, they were out of the fruit loop cereal and their pancake maker was broken. My kids are picky and those were the two items they will eat for breakfast. We had to go out to eat each morning of our stay because of this, which defeated the purpose of choosing a hotel where breakfast is included.

I always stay here. This is a peaceful place at night. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Carlo at the front desk is very professional. The breakfast is always good, especially the biscuit and gravy. The cinnamon rolls are always a hit with my family. This is our go to location when we visit San Jose.

The location was perfect for our stay. Wish they would have Tesla charging stations on-site. The room was comfortable. Our second night was a bit disruptive. Kids were running down the hallway and above our room the kids were running and jumping for about 2 hours. We called front desk to notify them about the upstairs noise.

Staff was very friendly, nice, and so courteous. Inside pool and gym so the kids had fun! Great location to visit wherever we wanted to!

Very clean, modern and spacious room. We hd a short stay for a family emergency but definitely would stay again, staff was great, beds comfortable.

Never will I use Holiday Inn again, rude staff and would not help move a reservation due to family emergency.

Right away I knew I wouldn’t be so thrilled to stay here. Parking was full and very limited, trash everywhere. Check in was very quick but rushed and impersonal. The hallways were dirty. The tile floors were filthy. Every surface , elevator buttons etc were gross. I was regretting my decision immediately. Our room was on the second floor. The floor upon s try was filthy. Spots on the tiles I could tell would easily come away with a mop. Someone’s previous keys were on the counter. Went in the bathroom to wash our hands and there was hair on the floor and on the new towel on the wall. So gross . I immediately inspected the beds because that would be a deal breaker no matter how tried me and my kids were. They were clean but the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed at all. The table and desk had sticky spots on them. My daughters socks were getting grey within 20 minutes so I started cleaning the floor with wipes (see photo). I went downstairs to get quarters to do laundry TripIt asleep and it took about 10 minutes to get quarters from the property next door. In the meantime I noticed that the cooler was pretty much beer there was no drinks or snacks for purchase. The laundry area was filthy. There was detergent and dust in hair everywhere. The following morning we went for breakfast about 20 minutes before it ended. Absolutely nothing there besides a few apples and sausage links. The young man was too busy cleaning up rather than making sure there was food out.
