Four Points by Sheraton San Jose Airport

We've stayed here several times and have had pleasant experiences. This past time, there was a bit of an issue. We took the shuttle to the airport and asked about our late return at 11:30 pm. We were told it was fine and to call for pick up. When i called upon our arrival at 11:30 pm, I was told ythe shuttle stopped at 11 pm. Thoroughly exhausted and exasperated, I explained we were told it wouldn't be a problem. She asked if we were just using Park and Fly, I said no and that we also had reservations for that night. She advised us to get an Uber. It's one thing at 3 pm without kids, but at 11:30 pm, with tired kids, its really frustrating. The shuttle stops at 11 pm, FYI, despite what the driver telling you otherwise.

It’s a fine hotel for business, but I wouldn't vacation there. Its in a crummy part of town and theres nothing walkable in the immediate area. The furnishings and stylings in the rooms are outdated and the automatic soap dispensers feel overly institutional. The shower and bath faucet in my room were in need of service and/or replacement. The pipe for the showerhead was bent towards the corner of the shower which made it difficult to catch the whole stream, and the faucetpull to engage the shower was jammed so you constantly had the bath faucet running during the shower, which seems wasteful. The restaurant in the lobby is good but it doesn’t appear that they have room service. The bed was comfy, AC/heat worked great and there were plenty of outlets in the room. Overall it was a fine hotel experience, but I wouldn't bring my family here for a vacation

Hotel was nice and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and was able to let me check in early as we arrived from Orange County to San Jose at 9am. I was able to check in around 10am and the room was nice and spacious enough for 3 adults and 1 child. It's a nice place to stay if you're coming in for 2 to 3 nights and need to be close by the airport. We were there for a concert at SAP Center so location of hotel was perfect. The people in San Jose are super nice and I would recommend this hotel and visiting this area at least once.
