The front facing customer service, Augie and Orlando are amazing; you feel like you’re staying at a families home and they make you feel welcome from beginning to end. Charming and cool beyond words. Restaurant is amazing on site and steps away from the best New Orlean’s soul food brunch we’ve ever had!

My favorite hotel in downtown. Brought my kids up for a concert at the Bill Graham Civic, which is in easy walking distance. Great pool situated between all the rooms, great music playing over the speakers throughout the afternoon. THE friendliest front desk staff and all else working the property were great. This is a historic rock & roll hotel with many artists staying here on their way to stardom in the past, the pool is a piece of history itself. Can’t wait to stay here again. Bonus was being directly under the Blue Angels return path for their Fleet Week show, scared the crap out of us a couple times with their low and fast returns to the bay.

We not like anything. We have two kids 5 and 8 years old . There was a noisy party with to much people and alcohol. People was drunk . We leave the property

Property itself is nice, convenient to the opera house. Really liked the restaurant bar on site and used the heated pool which was clean and relaxing. Room had plenty of surfaces and very clean. Nice New Orleans French soul food restaurant nearby. Felt unsafe around all the homelessness, trash, drug use and broken glass from street crime after walking out of the property. A car's windows were smashed open on the street next to the entrance and had to step past drugged out homeless people and a couple of storefront broken windows on a walk. Drug dealing in plain sight outside the property. Very sad situation for the people who clearly need treatment and help but struggling with the addiction. The city hasn't found a solution. I would go back to the hotel but the streets outside would make me think twice about it especially if I had a family with me.

Super great! Our kids are older and I don’t know if I would bring younger kids. Hotel is safe but it’s loud at night on the patio and sirens on the streets.
