My family and I stayed for 1 night and our kids loved the room. I still couldn’t believe that we got that room; king bed with a pull out; for the price we did. We had to change our reservation from 12/22 to 12/29 because we all got sick before Christmas but it ended up working out better for us in the long run. We loved the fact that the room had a microwave, full fridge with ice maker, utensils, and a dishwasher. The breakfast was awesome and had a bit of everything. My kids enjoyed hot fluffy and fresh made waffles along with bacon and juice. While the wife and I had eggs, muffins, fruit and coffee. Overall the staff was nice and friendly, we had no problems checking in and had all our questions asked. We will definitely be staying there in the future whenever we travel that area again.

It was convenient to a family gathering we were attending. The breaakfast was very good and had a different menu each day. The elevators were having problems which caused a line to form. I am sure they are fixed by now.

We had a few problems with ordering through Expedia so next time we are booking directly through the hotel. We had broken TV in first room, moved to a smaller, noisier and smellier room that accommodated pets but the manager came through and gave us a larger, quieter and better room closer to our other family members. We will stay here again when visiting CSUSM granddaughter!

It was in close proximity to family. Breakfasts were ample for a "breakfast included" option; hotel room was NOT noisy from within, but room was RIGHT NEXT to busy 3 lane road (each side) and we did not have the option to change rooms so we could sleep ok. Harmless spider on sheets, but no other bugs. Ample room; more costly than our usual, but glad to be there.

What can I say, we were as comfortable as if we were home.. The kids absolutely loved it. Enjoyed the pool . staff was perfect. Overall , great hotel

This hotel was an excellent choice....my family and i loved the room and the staff were very polite and helpful. I would recommend to any family going to legoland or just going on vacation at Southern California

The hotel room which the staff referred to as a studio unit met the need of my spouse who goes to bed by 9 p.m. and myself watching T.V. and using the computer until 2 or 3 in the morning. The living area where the T.V. is facing has its back to the bedroom and by lowering the volume of the television, we have the best of both worlds. More importantly, the Residence Inn has a microwave oven which if I recalled earlier, I would have brown bagged my left over from the restaurant and ate as my night snack at 2 a.m. Most hotel rooms are not equipped with a microwave and when you are traveling with babies, children and even adults, the microwave comes very handy. These are two of the amenities/arrangements that I appreciate the most about this Residence Inn of Marriott in San Marcos.

It was an awesome stay. Thanks to hotels.com, we got a great deal too. We stayed in a studio room, and it was amazing. This was meant to be a place for my husband and I to stay for one night, because it was 45 minutes from our next destination, but we seriously considered staying an additional night because of the comforts. Also, great continental breakfast. We were on our baby moon getaway so comfort was a Huge Must for us. A+

Was a very enjoyable stay for my family! The hotel was clean and the room was amazing. The FREE breakfast was acceptable. They have FREE appetizers and drinks at night, didn't get to go but was nice to know it was there.
