Loved your hotel and easy access to town! Rooms were quiet, beds soft, and everything was clean. Will be back again when visiting family in town.

The customer service was beyond amazing. I haven't even received such customer service even in high end hotels. The daily breakfast was very good, even the service during breakfast was impressive. The only down-fall would be our sofa bed which my children slept on. The bed within the sofa felt like it was going to fall apart.

We had booked this hotel room 2 months prior to arrival and we had just flown into San Francisco from South Florida. We were tired and hungry. When I walked excited to arrive to San Francisco, the front desk person said that our hotel room was cancelled due to previous guests destroying the room. They said that Expedia tried to call us but we did not answer. We were in the air, flying! Front desk personnel was not helpful at all. I had to ask him to call another Holiday Inn for my family since I did not know the area. Luckily I booked another Holiday Inn right down the street with my Holiday Inn app. 4 hours later, Expedia calls me and ask if I wanted to book a hotel room at another hotel. Too late!! They supposedly gave me a $75 voucher to use for another reservation. I know things happen out of our control but the common courtesy thing this Holiday Inn Express Redwood City could of done is have a list of hotels to book at. I had my 77 year old mother, tired and hungry in the car while I quickly searched for another hotel. Bad customer service at this Holiday Inn Express Redwood City. I've never had a hotel issue ever with Holiday Inn or Expedia until now.

We rolled in around 12:45 am, exhausted from a day of travel. All we wanted to do was sleep in a clean, comfortable, quiet place. Holiday Inn provided clean and comfortable, but, alas, they could not provide quiet, for above our room a couple (or a throuple? hard to say) was celebrating what I can only assume was someone's release from prison. Or perhaps a honeymoon. Or all of the above. All. Night. Long. After 6 hours of attempted sleep that was interrupted intermittently by loud talking and even louder "celebrating" in the room above, we rolled out of bed and down to the common area for a (delicious) breakfast and returned to our room, hoping for a nap but - alas - the magic of that Tuesday night above us in room 227 was still in motion. While I'm happy these two (three? lots of heavy footsteps and other.... noises) found each other and enjoyed their night (and morning), this may have been the worst night's sleep I've ever had at a hotel -- and I have traveled with puking children and drunk college friends who - in hind sight - probably needed to invest in C-PAPs. None of this is the fault of the Holiday Inn, however. Their rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic, including eggs, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, pastries, coffee, tea, milk and -- luckily for the girl in 227 -- cranberry juice. I just hope she got there in time to have some.

It was a very comfortable and convenient room. We liked having a microwave and fridge. Only one problem and that was the soundproofing. Sounded like kids were in the room over our head and they thumped around for quite some hours before settling down for the night. Maybe don't put kids on the upper floors!
