Ayres Hotel Orange

Hotel was nice. Staff were great. Location is good except you can only make a right turn to get onto the property. So you must plan blocks ahead to make sure your position doesn't require a left turn. You will not be able to access it. They have a stupid feature that requires your room key to be in a slot in order for your room to have power. Inluding the refrigerator. We had a do not disturb sign on the door while we congregated with family and left for lunch and when we returned housekeeping had come in anyway and also removed the key for the power. We had food and milk in the fridge that felt warm when we returned so had to throw it all away. Glad it wasn't a med requiring refrigeration. Stupid. Add $4 dollars a day to the rate to keep the fridge cold.

Quick stay for baseball tournament, but close to everything a lot of families stay here for Disney Land. Free breakfast is a plus

We arrived at the hotel around 1:30 am, because our flight was delayed from Torronto to LAX. My husband checked in with "Giovani" at the front desk, and it seems that Giovani was annoyed with us coming so late. My husband did not like his attitude. On top of this, Giovanni charged us extra 10 dollars for my daughter who is 15 years old. I booked through Hotels.com and they ask for the age of the child, so I added her age. So the hotel were aware about the booking, why then they charged us the extra 10 dollars?? Other than that, the cleanliness is A+ I could smell the laundry detergent on the sheets! Breakfast was also great. I had no other complains except the rudness of the front desk clerc and the surprising extra fee. That left a bad taste in mouth.

We loved our stay at Aryes in Orange. Our room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was great, spa and pool were refreshing and the staff were so friendly. Everything was perfect, we will definitely book here again for any family vacations. Oh and the location was awesome, super close to the outlets.

I recently stayed at Ayres Hotel and booked two rooms for my family with kids. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, the reception staff's treatment was very disappointing. Upon check-in, they initially refused my stay because someone with the same first name had destroyed a room at a nearby hotel. Despite providing my full ID, they failed to check the last name and wrongly assumed I was the culprit. Only after my insistence did they realize their mistake. I felt their treatment was racially motivated—perhaps because I'm Asian. Even after confirming the misunderstanding, they had security monitor me throughout my stay, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Maybe I'm overthinking, but the whole experience left a bad impression. The reception and customer service were unprofessional and careless. They didn’t verify details before confronting guests, which is unacceptable. Although they eventually apologized, the damage was done. It's a shame because the rooms were quite nice. Customer service is crucial, and their handling of this situation was severely lacking. I hope management takes steps to prevent this from happening to future guests.

This was our third time staying at this property and it is really wonderful. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is varied and delicious, the hotel is spotless, the pool is great for kids, and there is free parking, a rarity in California. There is guest laundry for $4 each washer and dryer which helps with the amount of clothes you need to pack! The hotel is also very close to the convention center and Disney.

My family and I enjoyed staying at Ayres. We stayed for Convention in Anaheim, just 8 min drive from Convention center. Breakfast was deasant, hotel was super clean, employees were friendly. Check in and out was quick and easy. Parking was easy. The pool was kind of small, but enjoyed because we had it for ourselves two days that we went. Room was big for 3 people. Beds were comfy. Loved the tub and shower. plenty of room for toiletries. Overall I would stay again if needed to come back.

On our arrival, we were greeted warmly. Check- in was smooth. Our room was spacious, clean, and had every amenity we could want: iron, microwave, refrigerator. The bed was SUPER comfortable with sift down pillows that helped us sleep like babies. The shower was AMAZING with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The heating and A/C were easy to manage and we stayed very comfortable. The location was ideal to all the things we wanted with easy on/off to freeways. Breakfast was teriffic and service was excellent. We loved our stay at Ayres Orange and look forward to coming again.

I don't really expect much from hotel's, I just want quiet and sleep anything else is extra. My children are breakfast and seemed satisfied. I have no issues with the place, I have stayed here and the Alo several times, both places are cool

We were skeptical about staying here, but we took a risk & absolutely loved this property! Here are some key facts: Room: We had a two queen bedroom which has a small dividing wall in between the two beds. The room looked pretty clean & was spacious enough for my family. No complaints. Bathroom: The bathroom consisted of the toilet & shower/tub, the sink was not located inside the restroom, rather right outside the restroom door, which was very convenient for us, when one was in the shower, the rest of us could still utilize the sink. The shower had different settings & was pretty high making it ideal for tall people. The tub was wide, which is a plus. It was cleaner than most restrooms we’ve seen in other hotels & resorts. Staff: The staff was VERY nice & friendly, from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the kitchen staff, they were all very friendly. If they take care of you like they took care of us, PLEASE make sure you tip the staff, I saw them work very hard every single time I saw them. Amenities: The hotel does have a pool & a small gym, we did not utilize them, but they looked decent. We absolutely loved that both parking & breakfast were included, one of the reasons we chose this property, it was well worth the bang for our buck! Breakfast was the basic pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage & potatoes along with the coffee, juices, teas, bagels, cereals, yogurt, fruits & muffins, for it being included, it was very nice & it got the job done. I recommend this property!
