Great family stay for all of us. The rooms have plenty of space, good views and small pool and spa area. There's a small walkway by the water and a couple of fishing piers. Plenty of parking and feels very safe. The Lounge at their sister hotel seems like a nice place for drinks and good steak or salmon dinner.

I enjoyed my time at this hotel. The rooms aren’t noise proof, so I requested a different room due to hearing kids running up and down above me. Then I was awaken in the middle of the night by security, because they forgot to update my room re-assignment in their system. So they thought my room was vacant. Anytime someone closes their room door, you’ll hear a loud slam. Imagine hearing a loud door slam every 10 minutes during check in hours? Overall the staff were kind & the hotel is close to the airport.

This hotel was perfect for our quick stay in Oakland. The breakfast had a ton of options and a really cool cappuccino machine! The pool is a little on the smaller side, but the hot tub and pool were enough to occupy my kids the one day we swam. The location was perfect for the airport, zoo and coliseum! Across the freeway was a homeless encampment but I feel like it was far enough away that I never felt scared and our car was fine for the 3 days we were here. Overall I would say this hotel exceeded our expectations!!

to summarize my stay, our room was spacious and relatively clean. however, the internet was very spotty and i had one bar the whole time during our 2 day stay that was very unpleasant since i had to work. the other thing was that the front desk put us in a connecting room with another family who had a sick child so he was coughing all night and we could hear everything they were saying because the wall was too thing and it was a connecting room. the hotel was not full not sure why they put 2 families in one connecting room.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. However, the area just a few blocks away is very unsafe. Someone tried to break into our car in a well-lit, busy shopping center while me & my kids were inside it. When they saw we were in they broke into the car next to us and found out later at least 1 other car.

This was our second stay at the Best Western Plus Bayside Hotel in Oakland. Great clean facility, huge rooms (that our daughters love), nice views, and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is also very good, especially the fresh DIY waffles with Nutella! Haven't done a summer stay yet, but when we do, I'm sure our kids will love the pool as well.

This was a perfect location for visiting family in Oakland. The hotel itself was centrally located, had easy parking, and was very clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful and attentive and the free breakfast was great - especially when traveling with kids. Would definitely stay here again.

The person at the front desk was not very pleasant in his way of receiving us, and unfortunately it was the same when leaving the hotel, the area does not offer anything pleasant in its surroundings, nothing attractive to see, as a mother of a family I do not recommend it if you have children, even the pool is not in a nice area. The people who offer service and serve the food are very friendly and nicer than the receptionist, that's the only good thing I can say.
