We went for a 4 night stay and enjoyed our time with two little ones. Walkable to most things, quiet area, clean and no issues with the room. Only minor issue I had was that they did not offer any complimentary water or snacks and charge $4 for a basic/no name bottle at the front desk. We ran low with our baby bottles and I thought that was a bit unreasonable to charge that price but it was not a huge deal. Otherwise, I do recommend this hotel and would return.

Nice centrally located property within walk to wharf and cannery row. Parking $17/day I believe. Parking is unsecured but plenty room. Hot breakfast in small dining area. Basic wine and cheese nightly at 5pm. Pet friendly. No air conditioning but they did offer a tower fan. I stayed in room 126 bottom floor. No spare blankets in room but I’m sure you can ask for them if needed. Comfortable king bed and pillows. Mini fridge. No microwave. Gas fireplace. Slider patio door with screen and two chairs. Door with security bar. Could not hear any of the kids or pets that stayed. Overall nice stay. Only note is you are not staying in the Victorian home. That’s where you check in and eat. Rooms are in other adjacent buildings. Would stay again.

We loved our stay at Victorian Inn! It was a rainy evening when we checked in and the fireplace in the room added to the ambiance. The wine and cheese happy hour was a nice way to chat with fellow guests. Our family of four had a great time and we will be back again!

Beautiful inn. Love that it’s pet friendly even though we didn’t bring our fur baby this time. They had a great breakfast and wine and cheese in evening.

The Victorian Inn is a nice place to stay just a few blocks up from the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Our family loves the "Premium rooms" as they have a large window area to sit at and a lovely automatic gas fireplace that's on a timer.
Two sinks: one inside and one outside of the bathroom which lets one person shower while another one brushes their teeth.
Included breakfast is a little better than most "free breakfast" hotels.

Motel was very good. Have stayed here many times. After the first night, we had a wonderful time. However the first night was a horrible. The thundering herd of a child running back and forth in room 305 at 3 am was to much since we were in 205. I know the staff has no control over the ignorance of some selfish people. They could have done something by moving those people to a ground floor or not putting people under them since they had problems before we got there.

Decent hotel within easy walking distance to Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf. Hot breakfast buffet with waffles, sausage and little omelettes as well as fresh fruit etc was enough to set us up for the day. Good size room for a family of four. Comfy beds but bad pillows. Annoying to have to pay extra for parking ($19/day) on top of room rate - I know this is standard practice but irksome nonetheless.

First time taking the kids to Monterey and booked last minute. I expected it to be a bed and breakfast. Accommodations are older than I prefer but considering it was one of the few places available last minute and close to the beach it was fine. They had a wine and cheese reception in the evening and breakfast in the morning.

Older facility but great space for our family of 5. Close to cannery row, restaurants and the aquarium. Breakfast was perfect, and the evening happy hour wine/cheese was a great bonus. Great value for the nearby area.

The good: Cute hotel in a good location. We walked to the Aquarium and Cannery Row in about 10 minutes. Room was spacious for a family with 2 teenagers. Bedding and towels were clean. The first day breakfast was veggie omelettes, pork sausage, fruit, oatmeal, muffins, waffles, your typical included breakfast. The second day they brought in ham and cheese croissants from The Paris Bakery. They were very good. We spent very little time in the room. Overall we had a good stay.
The bad: hotel is in need of some upgrading. There was black mold around the bath tub and floor by the tub. Carpets and drapes are very old and showing their age. A fresh coat of pain would do wonders.
