Everything was excellent except for the valet, after we called to have our car ready and, they took a half hour to get my car and said my car was on its way, but on my app it showed my truck was not even started. End up being late to the wedding. For a family of four my kids were fine on the bed, but my wife and I did not fit on the bed. Beds are too small, but staff was really friendly. You should have options for bigger beds.

The pool was small and not what we were expecting. The front desk staff were rude and not helpful for a first time visitor. We had two toddlers with us after a long car ride and our items sat in cart for over 30 minutes and we were the only ones. I went down and started taking it they told me I couldn’t I said it has been awhile and we had babies. She said it will be up soon

Brought our 9 month old baby here for her first over night trip, everyone was very accommodating snd friendly. Highly recommend dining at their restaurant for breakfast the next morning! They were also able to allow us to check in super early which was great for the baby to take naps in between going to the aquarium and other activities.

From the moment we parked, to the front desk, Bell, man, the cleanliness and overall appearance of the entire hotel. Was absolutely beyond what I was expecting. The beds, the pillows everything was so comfortable. The view was amazing. I am never gonna stay in another hotel in Monterey again, I’ve been to Monterey since 2008 with my kids and this was my first time in this hotel. And I will always stay in this hotel from here on out.

on this trip we travelled with teens. teens can be loud... but even though they were constantly talking and laughing (just being kids) you could not hear anything from outside the room. this is the quietest hotel i have ever been to. (its the construction i believe). in other hotels i had a hard time resting because you could just hear everything. sweet dreams when you stay here!

Had the best time with our family. It’s so family friendly. Loved the heater pool and hot tub. So convenient to the other shops and restaurants. Would love to come back!!

This was not a good experience. I arrived at 5pm and there were food services dishes outside of my room door. Checkout is supposed to be 11am so it seemed like those dishes must have been sitting there all day. I got settled in with my kids and someone came to the door and insisted on coming in to count items in the mini fridge. It made my children and me ( a single mom) extremely uncomfortable. On top of that we were put in a room very far away from everything. It was actually on the other side of the street next to a parking garage. I won’t be coming back.

This hotel is wonderful. Right next to the aquarium on cannery row. The restaurant on-site is expensive but delicious and very accommodating for kids. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel for those looking to enjoy Monterey. I've stayed at the Clement multiple times: as a solo traveler, part of a friend group, as a couple, and with my immediate family, It's a great place to stay under any circumstances because of the location, the condition of the hotel, and restaurant. My favorite rooms are the oceanfront rooms with balcony. You get a direct 24/7 view of the ocean with sea otters, birds, and nature right from your room. Only thing I would say is, there definitely is a spa, but it's small. Same with the pool, VERY VERY small. If you are looking for a "hang out all day here" kind of spa or pool, this isn't the place.
