Overall an okay hotel, but as expected for the location… lipstick on a pig. Cleaned up and looking nice in general, but old feeling, uncomfortable beds, no water pressure and a terrible shower head, and a large spider that crawled in my kid’s suitcase and scared them. And of course ridiculous parking and “resort” type of fees with homeless people trying to spit on you when you walk in front of the property.

Excellent location that is walking distance to everything you want to do in Santa Monica. Rooms are really small and beds are full size as advertised. Little tight accommodations for a family but I get it given the area.

Staff were incredible. We got a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room and a delivered care package with a hand written card welcoming our family to the hotel, what a nice touch. Would have liked to have microwave in the room, extra blankets in the closer, and a parking option other than valet.

Great location near Santa Monica Pier. Only two constructive points. Something wasn’t right with our sink. Told front desk and it was corrected quickly. Only other thing is walls between rooms are thin. Screaming kid and somebody continuously trying to open the door to our room. Beyond that staff is as awesome. Views were very nice. Easy walking distance to Santa Monica Pier. And lots of great restaurants. We would stay there again.

Staff are all very nice and welcoming! Our kiddos also felt welcomed and included..before heading out to the beach they were given buckets& shovels. Location is convenient, close to the pier, shopping, and dining. It was a great experience for the whole family.

During booking itself we requested a crib for my 16 month old baby and was confirmed. But upon reaching we didn’t got it. The checkout time was 1 PM but the keys were automatically disabled at 11 AM without informing. And we were stuck in lobby. Can’t even reach the front desk as there was another door in between. Thankfully one of the guest came out and informed front desk about this issue. Very horrible experience and poor experience

Iconic view of the pier and ocean. Friendly efficient valet parking. Close to everything....restaurants, beach, shopping. This is a lively and loud bustling street with night life. Not a quiet family friendly beach oasis. So if you are seeking a lively atmosphere this is for you.

Beautiful view in the ocean view rooms and walking distance to most things; pier, beach, and so many restaurants. The area can be a little noisy but that is to be expected in a high tourist/restaurant/bar area and did not disrupt our sleep or our child’s night time routine. Downside is that there is no pool or available day passes to their sister hotel’s pool next door. The king size bed was so hard that a good nights rest was hard to come by, but the roll away mattress was comfy. We would probably choose a different property next time we visit.

Morning staff at front counter had terrible service had me waiting for hours until i could check in. Valet service was more helpful and polite got us beach towels and sand toys for the kids. They need to work on customer service at front desk!
