I racked my brain on which hotel to choose in Flagstaff. Sooo many to choose from. All vary in prices. But why?! What a decison. I ended up on the Country Inn on Lockett because of the easy access and proximity to restaurants, stores and a large park for the kids down the way. (Highly recommend this park as it has a dog park there too - Bushmaster Park) Okay, now about the hotel. 1. Very friendly staff. 2. Clean. 3. Small breakfast area. Also, I am pretty sure the tables were made for kids because I had to bend over sooo far to eat my cereal and Im 5'4"and my knees were touching under the table top. Lol 4. Food choices were average. Vaires by day. Waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, muffins (once again sooo tiny and a bit dry), juices, one choice of milk, and a few hot choices each day. (Egg patty things, biscuits/crazy, bacon(yet again THE smallest pieces of bacon I have seen it was hilarious but crispy). Overall...it was "free" so why complain. 5. Free Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in lobby. 6. Free USA Today 7. Free coffe bar area daily 8. Pool area, was well maintained and clean. I have to say though, the pool towels, I kid you not...small again!! Smaller than a hair towel. I was sensing a theme. 9. Rooms. Clean but very worn down in some parts. Even though it was clean, it needs some TLC for sure. 10. Bathroom was standard. Had shelves rather than larger counter top which was fine. Had a hard time regulating the temperature in the shower. Fluctuated. 11. Beds were fine

We ve stayed here 3 times in the oast year. Love this place, my kiddos love it there. Pool open at 6am and closes at midnight. Check out at noon. The bathrooms are spacious, which is a must. Will definitely continuing staying here.

Elevator was broken so had to use the stairs with all luggage for a family for 2 days and ski equipment. Thermostat was either hot or cold, tv needed subtitles as it was so quiet even at full volume that you could barely hear it. Pool wasn’t bad but hot tub needed to be cleaned.

This place is old, stained, and cramped. The. At pet in the room was so dirty and stained, I felt like embarrassed in front my family. The door handle was loose and wobbly- it took two days to ‘fix’ it: The staffs make their utmost efforts to make stay pleasant. Breakfast has lot of options but basic. They kept the supplies of cookies and coffee 24/7. Coffee was good. Wouldn’t stay here again.

My husband and i stayed 2 nights, our room was spacious and clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The pool was chilly but the spa was relaxing, although i couldn’t sit in it too long or I’d realize how badly it needed clean. Everything else was very clean and to be expected. The parking lot was full Thursday night yet my husband and i hardly saw other guests, no wait for the elevator or crowded staircases. My husband and i would stay here again, probably not with our kids though. It was very obvious Mary Jane was being smoked in multiple rooms, I’m not sure what was done about it, if anything, and i couldn’t imagine how annoying that would be to someone with an allergy or kids present.

Our room and the common areas were comfortable and clean. We prefer staying on the east end of Flagstaff (near Country Club Drive) to be closer to family. The price was very reasonable. The amenities and service were on par with more expensive accommodations we've stayed at in that end of town.

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms clean and comfortable. Pool, hot tub and breakfast made it a great place to stay during a quick family visit to the Snowbowl. Interior is much lovelier than the exterior would suggest. Unbeatable value!
