The whole staff were incredible from the reception ladies to Dale who helped me with the suitcases and valet parked my car . Dinner was another lovely experience . The hotel is situated conveniently near all the York attractions . I will recommend this hotel to friends and family . Diane Canterbury

Great Location - right across from the Cathedral, and just around the corner from the Theatre Royal. There is no more central location within the York city walls than this hotel. The only thing better than the location is the wonderful staff - friendly and genuine. The family room we stayed in was overall satisfactory and clean. The bed was comfortable and there were even two oscillating fans left there to circulate the air. Breakfast was good, except the muffins were stale for my wife's Eggs Royale making them chewy and difficult to cut.
