My family and I was vacationing in London. I am a Hyatt member, but was referred to the Double-tree Hilton. While the staff ways nice and we loved the Savage rooftop and being close to the Tower of London. I was very disappointment in the rooms that we were first given at check-in. We were on the 6th floor and it smelled of standing water, wet and carpet was dirty. Our rooms were so far from the elevator and next to the staff work rooms, which I didn’t like. In our rooms we had panels to fall off the wall. The next day we spoke to the manager Princess, and she did accommodate us by moving my family to two other room on another floor. However, it would have been nice if she would of upgraded our rooms to one of the newly renovated rooms (without charge) seeing how it was our first visit to this hotel. Sadly, this is a hotel we will not be staying at upon our return to London.

The Hotel is in a great spot with lots of nice places to eat and drink. Minutes away from Tower Hill underground. The. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we weee meeting family so ate out. The we went for a queens delux but it wasn’t a very big room and on one side of the bed it was very close to the wall so kept hitting myself in the wall when getting out. I have very long hair so need a good shower and this room didn’t disappoint. Overall I would say this queen size room was ok for. Couple of days but maybe if staying for longer you go for a larger room.

We stayed 21-22 January 2022. Unfortunately we were woken by an alarm clock in our room at 6am (which we did not set!) After our early awakening we popped the kettle on to find we had been provided with no teabags! (We called house keeping and they did bring some to us) Overall, pretty disappointed with our stay with you. For us, with very young children at home, (plus the cost of living right now) staying in a hotel is very rare and a huge treat. I personally came for a good and relaxing night sleep, did not expect to be startled by a loud early alarm. This was ruined for us staying with you last night and we feel pretty short changed to say the least. We mentioned all of this on check out this morning, we were offered breakfast but declined as needed to get back home.

We had a wonderful visit! The hotel is very well kept up and our room was perfect for our family of three (had a suite) loved having a shower and a tub! Elsy and the entire morning breakfast staff were the absolute BEST part of our stay. Elsy went above and beyond to make our little girls stay memorable and we looked forward to breakfast each morning. Thank you for making our time in your hotel extra special!

We had a lovely stay. The kids were greeted with activity packs and cookies and our rooms were very comfortable. We also played some games and enjoyed drinks in the lobby bar. Comfortable atmosphere!
