We have stayed previously at the West bay Club and had a great experience so were happy to return with our family. What I like best about this resort is that it is on the smaller side and has a beautiful wide beach. The staff at West Bay Club are very attentive and friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful vacation. If you are looking for a peaceful stay away from crowded beaches this is the place for you!

Very nice room at the West Bay Club. We had a 2 bedroom oceanfront. We spent a ton of time just hanging out in the perfect water out front. Our family friends were at the Ritz and the environments were very different. West Bay Club is quiet and private. Lots more "action" at the Ritz, but we liked the atmosphere at West Bay better. We did the free sailing and paddleboards. We had breakfast daily which was really nice. The restaurant was OK for dinner (we ended having 3 dinners at the restaurant next door which was pricey but amazing). Only thing we didn't like was the wait for activities and food out by the beach. The "island time" vibe was strong out there and we had to ask repeatedly for any action. Everything else at the hotel was efficient and friendly. Would stay again - we struggled for months with the choice of hotels, but I think we made the right call going to West Bay Club.

After coming here in December 2021 for the first time, I had such a great experience that I decided to stay at the resort the same week every year. This resort is like none other as the staff makes you feel like family and they are very attentive. All of the staff remembered me from last year and knew that it had been a year since I was last here. I plan on staying here the same week every year and will always look forward to it! Thank you to Beatrice, Roshana and the OG bartender, Jose, for making my stay the best it can be. If you’re looking for a quiet, calm, and friendly resort to stay, this is the place!

The property itself was great: the suite (Ocean front luxury 2 bedroom suite) was awesome. the beach was wonderful.
What was lacking was the service: it was way subpar considering this a luxury small property (WBC is not a larger Hotel/Resort) this area needs a great attention form the management if they want return customers:
The only service which stood out was the kids club: Margaret from kids club was awesome and was an example about how to deliver a great customer service.
Over all I give the suite 5/5 stars but only one star for service . We will definitely return to Turks and Caicos but will try different place next time.

The staff is amazing, everyone from front desk (Roshana, Phil, Kavonte and all the others), to the servers (I'm sorry I forgot your names but you were like family), and everyone else, it's been a pleasure.
The suite smells great, beautiful ocean view, amazing water, helpful staff, daily housekeeping, staff helps you plan your day with booking activities/rentals and are superstars! Will be returning!
The guests staying there are not that friendly (elite/entitled/snobby) so it's hard to make friends with them, but at least you can make friends with the nice staff!
Place is fun! Good entertainment, tasty food and delicious drinks.

Just got back Was there July 6-13th. Off season so it was like our own private beach everyday. Stayed in a two bedroom oceanview luxury suite. Lots of space for our family of 5. The view and location are stunning. Included breakfast everyday was a plus. Some suggestions- toaster for bread and bagels, bring spoon with coffee, if serving yogurt and cereal provide spoons, if serving French toast and pancakes daily be sure syrup on the table. Tried a few things on dinner menus and everything was delicious. Steak cooked to perfection, ribs, butter chicken, pizzas, salads all tasty. Can walk to nearby resorts and eat dinner in their restaurants. Downloaded their equivalent of Uber eats called Swift eats. Able to try local food without having to pay for everyone to take a cab. Nice during pandemic since we had a beautiful full dining room to eat in our room. Nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks were basic and very expensive. They should consider a menu of signature frozen drinks -people will be willing to pay more for effort. Fruits and vegetables were surprisingly like America. No tropical fruits at all. The guys helping on the beach were great and attentive. The front desk staff were excellent and very helpful. Transportation to and from the resort was smooth. Renting a car is ok but may not be worth the money unless you plan to eat out daily. Overall a great vacation. First real vacation since pandemic and much needed for these weary healthcare workers.

This review is based on my experience during a one-week trip in the off season.
t's a condo with a hotel bolted on. It's a nice place. The thing I like about it is its relatively small size. The hotel is lodged in one building - unlike some resorts which resemble small villages or compounds.
I had a very nice "studio room" for $310 per night which had a fridge and microwave, plates, cups, cutlerly, etc free bottles of water
Pros:
Vast, quiet white sand beach with crystal clear water.
Full, complimentary American breakfast - omelettes, breakfast meats, bagels, muffins, fruits, cheeses, yogurts, etc. This is no small perk - I estimate the value of the breakfast for 2 at $80. (No cab fair, no tip, no service charge).
Free wireless internet on the entire property - Usually I pay $10 a day or more.
Free parking - save another $25 a day
Nice gym, free bike rental, free water activities
Walking distance to the Fish Fry (weekly food festival), Somewhere - casual dining with roof deck.
Negs:
Small pool.
Lots of noisy kids but they tend to congregate by the pool.
Bottom Line: I would repeat. At the beach, I felt like I was on a desert Island like in the movies. They claim to provide an upgrade for return visitors.
TIP: Have the cab driver stop off at the IG supermarket before you check in and stock the fridge with lunch items and snacks.
Eat your nice big free breakfast, have a snack or sandwith up in the room foe lunch and go all out for dinner

We stayed at the West Bay Club for 5 nights. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute cab ride away. Cab is about $25 for 2 people. Be prepared to spend money on cabs if you want to leave the resort. It is about a $15 cab ride to another resort or into town. There is a local supermarket nearby. You can bike there (the resort will give you a bike) or take a cab (about $20). The supermarket has everything you need, including alcohol. But, it is super expensive. Well worth it for us though, as we got stuck inside for 3 straight days due to a hurricane. Everyone at the resort was very nice and showed us around when we arrived. The resort is very small and only has 1 restaurant. Although the food was okay, not great, most of the food is prepared spicy. Breakfast is included and had a pretty large variety. The pool is very small but very nice. There were about 3 guests/families/couples including us on the resort our entire stay. It was nice and quiet. The beach is right on the property. It is beautiful, powder sand, clear blue water. There are chairs and umbrellas set up for you by the pool and the beach. Charles was the one that set up the beach stuff. He was very friendly and helpful. Another staff member, Franklyn, was also helpful and friendly. The women who showed us around the property (Shamika? and also a new staff member) were so nice and helpful. The morning that the hurricane started, the staff came around and offered us dvd's and popcorn, which we thought was so thoughtful. However, that was the extent of it. We were literally stuck inside for 3 straight days and we could not even sit outside on our balcony since it wasn't covered. I called the front desk and asked if we could be moved right next door since we knew that the bigger rooms had a covered balcony. Wellington informed me that if we wanted to move to that room, we would need to pay another $600 for the next 2 nights. It was absurd. We liked our room a lot (studio) and obviously didn't want to move our stuff, but we also didn't want to sit inside all day. The resort doesn't have anything to do so we were stuck. Another evening, as we were leaving our room to go out to dinner, a staff member came to our room and gave us a bowl of hot, spicy soup (95 degrees and humid outside). Although we thought that was nice of them, they could have at least offered us a bottle of wine or champagne, complimentary dinner, drinks, something! Not hot and spicy soup. We are not ones to complain and want complimentary stuff and we know it is not the resort's fault about the weather, but we felt that the resort and staff could have done more to make us and their very few guests feel more comfortable in this unfortunate hurricane situation. We spent a lot of money to stay there for a week. It is a nice little resort, however, if we do return to Turks & Caicos, we would not stay at this property again.

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful beach! The staff is fabulous, especially the guys at the beach who are extremely helpful, happy and fun! They were always there to get you anything you needed and always with a smile. The hotel beach is nice and wide so it is not too crowded or as busy as a few farther down that cater to younger children. We loved that it had a more private feel. The beach bar is small, with a limited snack type menu, but that’s what appealed to us, and the food is delicious. Try the grilled Lion Fish. The pool area offers a bigger menu and a complimentary continental breakfast that is just right. The rooms are very clean with very comfortable beds and the beach views are spectacular.

Would've given a 5* rating except for the billing issues that were annoying and took numerous calls to fix. They auto-charged us for a taxi to the airport even though we had a rental car. And, they billed many meals to our room that wasn't ours. Seems like they need a better process for verifying which rooms to bill. Facility doesn't have beach volleyball despite what's printed. The WBC is smaller and quieter which we loved. If you want your kids to make friends with other kids, based on the week we went, it was mostly adults. Beach is beautiful and more isolated (which again we loved), but close enough to walk to Coral Gardens for good snorkeling. Love the comfortable beach chairs & umbrellas (1st come 1st serve). Free use of bikes (although they're old & in need of TLC), kayaks, and paddleboards are great! Breakfast buffet was a great bonus and had enough variety to make everyone happy. Studio room was very spacious and included a small kitchen area, and washer/dryer (love having a W/D to do a small load of laundry for a week's stay). Recommend either biking or driving to Grace Bay beach for souvenir shopping & great volleyball at Seven Stars Resort. Overall, great stay, but wish it didn't end with calling daily to correct billing issues.
