The Tides

Excellent stay in the tides. Hotel just two minutes walk from the beautiful Grace Bay beach and close to several restaurants. Very convenient hotel to visit with family and with small children since each room has a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and dryer. Turk and Caicos is a very quiet place to visit and with very friendly people. We loved our vacation on this beautiful Caribbean island.

My husband, 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son had a great stay here in July 2024. It was our first time to TCI and we can’t wait to come back. The Tides was perfect for my family and provided a high chair and corn for my son. The staff was great and we loved the setup. Beach is super close and the pool view is great. I do think the rooms could have been cleaned a little bit more…. maybe have a deeper clean between guests, but overall we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tides. Very quiet and clean and so close to the beach. It is family friendly and the staff were kind and informative. The rooms are very spacious. I hight recommend this place.

Stayed at The Tides with our kids for a week vacation in June and we loved everything about it. The kitchen had all the basic necessities that we needed to use throughout our stay. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was a huge plus for us and having a cleaning person come in daily was awesome. The pool was available at all times but we barely used it since the beautiful beach was just steps away from the property. The staff were great as well and were very helpful when we had questions about excursions and such. We loved our stay and we’d certainly stay here again and recommend this place to friends and family.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Tides. Brenda was such a great host. Our room was spacious and clean. Loved that it had a refrigerator and a wash & dryer. It made traveling with an infant so much much easier. I also loved being able to wake up and enjoy coffee on the balcony. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk. We were able to walk to the Fish Fry which I highly recommend. The grocery store is less than a 10 minute drive but be aware, it is VERY expensive. We are already planning our next trip to the Tides.

Super private area and private beach. Needed a place to spend two days with my family before moving to an all inclusive resort and we were soooo satisfied. Loved how quiet and private everything was. No food on site but if you rent a car, it’s an excellent location to many restaurants and coffee shops

After our flight was canceled I immediately contacted the hotel. Susie, the reservations manager was incredible. She quickly offered a solution so that we could enjoy the same number of days as planned. We received a warm reception, fast check-in and escort to our suite by Wayne. The accommodations were great. Clean, spacious and very quiet. The full kitchen was definitely a plus. The amenities (in-suite and poolside) were very nice. Brenda was a God send. She truly made our stay memorable. We also owe the highlights of our time in Turks to her. She patiently orchestrated three fun filled days for us. Which included travel to the other islands, transportation while there, suggestions for attractions, breakfast and lunch. My family and I plan to return to the island and The Tides soon. Property is very modern, super clean but also spacious that we had no issues fitting as a family (5 people). Staff is super friendly and the beach is beautiful (sky blue water) and only half a block away. All in all a top vacation and I’m glad we chose the place among others.
