Jet Park Hotel Auckland Airport

Stayed here on our way back overseas and had my family for dinner that night. Staff were really good and attentive, restaurant good and bar and outside area was a nice vibe too. Would stay again

The swimming pool was not available. The toilet in Sarah's room did not stop flushing. The man on Reception advised that our daughter & son's rooms were not available when we drove from Henderson to check-in after a funeral after 2pm. So our children had to leave their bags in our room and check-in later which was inconvenient as they were tired & wanted to rest. When they checked in the woman on Reception gave us discounted breakfasts to compensate. The bed was comfy.

Very convenient nice room but had rattling noise in bathroom also I was next to a motorway and kids playground when I ?asked for quiet room. I went to sleep early for early flight but was woken late when my tv went on with a welcome message lighting up the room and woke me up. Flight was cancelled and made for pm. Found they were great about arranging late check out person that greeted me on arrival was rude.my overseas card declined as I had turned off settings then she sniggered as she said we take a bond in case u trash the place! Lunch and dinner were excellent staff on the whole friendly

the cups in our room still had lipstick on the rims, we didn’t even have warm water to wash ourselves or baby in.. the rooms you can hear everyone above you walking around

I was going to leave a very good review, as most of my stay was just what I needed. However, having organised a shuttle to get to our flight the next morning I had expected my seat would be earmarked for me, otherwise what is the point of the booking, right? Traveling with a two year old, I was told that the shuttle had gone - I had missed it - coldly informed it was my fault as I was late. Hmm. Not the type of shuttle service I had been led to expect. I understand this, I had not been told it was a schedule that was firm, I thought it was a shuttle for me. Not at all explained. Disappointing. However, it was the cold and indifferent delivery of the front of house individual that really offended me. No apology, and more importantly, no attempt to troubleshoot or help. He did not even offer to order a taxi for me and my child. Cold. And blaming.

Property under construction with no heads up given to people when booking reflects poor management and bad communication skills. We booked for the pool but the pool was closed, we booked because we had a 2 year old who loves pools. We were given a room that overlooked construction garbage. No VIP upgrades just the garbage view! Ask for another family to be that was travelling with us to be booked close to our room, was told they would, then we were put on the opposite sides of the hotel! Buffet was poor, no eggs or bacon put out until about 30 mins into sitting, did not receive coffee for 20 mins despite them not being busy at all. Would not recommend, there are other hotel options in the area that are far more superior. Reached out to management about these concerns and heard nothing back, gave them about a week to respond before writing this review. Again, reflecting very poor property management! I would not consider this a VIP property from my travelling experiences.
