Should have a free shuttle to Cabo Centro . The beach was not swimable but we found out there was a beach very close that was . Families should stay in one area of the resort . We had a screaming baby 2 nights in a row almost all night .

This was our 8th time staying at solmar. We love how quiet it is yet you can be in town within 10 walkable minutes. The staff is like family and on each visit we meet wonderful people. We hope to visit solmar again soon.

Me, or my family and friends will never stay at this hotel. I’d check in they ask you where you’re from just sent you on a scheme to sell you timeshares. If they tell you to go to another hotel to eat breakfast for free, say no. They lied to me and I lost four hours of my vacation. Also, when you check out and have a family member pick you up, they will not let them go all the way to reception. You have to walk all the way down to the gate when it’s hot and carrying suitcases. Not very good customer service. Through the whole process it just was lies after lie after lie. I’m disappointed in their customer service in their check-in points by asking questions questions just to trick you into selling you something. Expedia please don’t recommend this hotel anymore. Thank you.

We didn’t like the new restrictions!! Not aloud our friends and some family locals from Cabo to pick us up or dropping us to the hotel… We don’t use Ubers in Cabo! Only taxis!!

Octavio and Arturo are the best! We come back year after year and they know us and the kids. They treat our kids like their own, greet them in the mornings, play with them by the pool. We will never go anywhere else because the service is so great

Overall, we would come back. The property itself is very nice. Can not swim in any of the water near by-pool only. The rooms are very extremely outdated. Even the rooms have an old smell to them. The resort is cash free. Everything gets charged to your room which for us was nice to not have to carry a card but I can see others not liking it. Very pricey for food & alcohol. We paid $18 for French toast which was very good but like I said pricey. Some staff were so amazing. Very kind & friendly & willing to help. Others would ignore you & at one point it took us 15 minutes to get water at the resort restaurant after asking 2 people. Pillows… highly recommend bringing your own. I’ve never seen a pillow with so much hard filling in my life. I had to sleep with a blanket under my head which gave me headaches daily. When laying my head down, my chin would touch my chest. Beds were fairly comfortable though! Very hard to adjust water in shower. It was either burning hot or ice cold & took a very long time to adjust. Room service was very nice. She always did a great job making the bed & cleaning up a bit for us. Very nice view. Walking distance from the marina and other places. Definitely need to come down on price of these rooms for what they are though. I can’t tell you enough how highly outdated the rooms are. Our family has time share at the grand Solmar & this is nothing even partially close to that. I wish I could post pictures. I’m glad we got to come & experience it though!

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. We had issues with noise from construction from an adjacent room, and the concierge representative immediately moved us to a better location. We enjoyed being so close to the marina, within walking distance. We felt like we were treated like family at every meal and got to know a number of the staff. It's not a super fancy resort, but if you go into it with that expectation, you won't be disappointed. If we find ourselves visiting Cabo in the future, we will definitely stay again!

I had a great stay here with my two kids (13 and 10). The room was very clean and housekeeping came every day. Staff was very pleasant. Resort was not crowded. Food at main restaurant, grill bar and sushi bar was very good. Pools were nice. There was not many resort provided activities so don't plan on them keeping your kids entertained. Beach was great but can not swim which we knew. Short walk to the marina. 15 min walk to a great health food store. We did not do the all inclusive as we had dietary restrictions although based on the menu we could have done it. But we had kitchen and made breakfast and lunch and ate out at dinner and some lunches. Overall we had a great time at this resort and would definitely go back.

We’ve come here for years because the food is amazing and the environment is peaceful. Octavio was the best bartender and Rodolfo was great with the kids for crafts.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was incredible, especially Rudolpho! My family and I enjoyed the daily activities by the pool and really appreciated everything he does for the resort and it’s guests. From our room to the food and drinks, we loved everything about our stay and plan to return!
