Our stay at the Half Moon was AMAZING!!! The entire resort was fit for royalty with amenities and service over and beyond even for a 5 star resort. Great access to private beaches. Some seaweed was present a few feet into the water but it was not bad. Delmare restaurant was incredible both in food and service!
The Concierge and front seat were staffed with professionals that made us feel like family.
We cannot wait to return!

Great property. Beautiful beaches. Safe for children. Very well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dining options were expensive and not worth the price.

Half Moon exceeded all expectations. Impeccable customer service! I mean 10/10!!! The junior suite was the perfect size! EVERYONE was so kind. Niquette at the front desk was amazing. She was super helpful. Janique was also so nice! I wish I remembered all the waitresses names lol. The food was exquisite! Definitely coming back! I think I found my new favorite resort in Jamaica!!!

From the airport - all staff I encountered were absolutely lovely, welcoming and extremely helpful.
It’s the largest property in the area in terms of acreage - about 400 acres. It’s not overly crowded. Perfect for solo vacay’s, baecations and families. Got to meet some famous actors who were on their honeymoon - which was quite a treat.
I love everything about this property! The Spa was AMAZING. The beach was AMAZING.
Food and drink are quite expensive - but still a place I would return to without a second thought.

We were upgraded to an Oceanfront Suite. Did not understand the gravity of our upgrade until we were lead to a beautiful oceanfront suite with a private patio that looked over the ocean. Ground level!!!!! The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We've traveled a lot and we both agreed, this was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Our room had the most beautiful view and set up. We had two sets of french doors to open up and just let in all the sounds and sights. The staff was so helpful and very nice. The food was very good and yes - expensive. But, was expensive all over Jamaica, especially the airport. The mixed drinks were great and good wine selection. The resort is so beautiful and just heaven. We didn't want to leave. I wasn't expecting how family friendly and how much there was to do at the resort. We are returning next summer with our children. We go every year to Seaside, Florida but not anymore. We have found our place! It reminded us of The Cloisters on Sea Island Georgia. Just on a beautiful Caribbean Island. The sunset and sunrises were just awesome. The complimentary coffee bar set up in morning had the best coffee. Even the cream tasted better. Can not wait to go back.

We certainly do not regret our spontaneous pre-Christmas booking for a short family holiday at Half Moon. We had a wonderful stay, and we all fell in love with Jamaica - especially the friendly and welcoming Jamaicans. We upgraded to the Hibiscus suites on arrival, and although quite a jump in price, was so worth it! Amazing views and relaxing privacy.

I've been stayed at the legendary Half Moon more than five time over a the past decade. It's my "go-to" destination when visiting Montego Bay. The service is always impeccable. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. With it's recent renovation and expansion, the property is even more luxurious. Villa suites are modern and new, yet keeping with native touches of Jamaica. The guests skews older, as expected given the price point and lineage of Half Moon. Good for families (young and teenage kids). I recommend couple opt for a suite, given it's likely more private and quiet. My only complaint is that you can't really leave the blind open in the ground floor beach suites. Black-out curtains are standard, but I like to enjoy the beach view in the morning and not worry about what clothes I do (or don't) have on! I would have chosen a second floor suite to avoid this in the future. Otherwise, Half Moon is a great hotel and first-class.
