Great spot, nice clean room on the larger side with 2 independent bedrooms. Great to get started with your trip in Iceland with a family.

The stay was good and location great. Guests should know the property backs up to a main highway and the rooms have not been updated in many many years. But the staff lovely and it totally worked for our family of 4

Needed a one-night stay in Reyk, the night before leaving. The hotel was clean and had friendly front staff. The room was a deluxe, so was spacious with room for us and kids in 2 rooms. Shower temp would fluctuate wildly. Not sure if that's all hotels in the area. Was looking for somewhere with on-site parking. It was a tight lot, but I found a spot.

Great value hotel. I booked well in advance and secured a great rate. Great location. Breakfast good. Beds comfy. Rooms don’t have wardrobe but there is a hanging rail but only a limited number of hangers so good idea to bring a few extra of your own. Fridge and kettle in room. Great for families. Yes can be considered basic but just what you need when not spending much time in hotel. Supermarket very close by. 15 min easy walk from main BSI bus station.

Great location and very nice room. We had family of five in a room with one master bedroom and one bunk room with four beds, and common lounge area. Was great for us. Great location just off of Laugevegur.

It was an amazing stay. Eventhough there’s a construction going on and there’s a little bit of noise, the room was comfortable for my family. Also, parking was not availabe when we checked-in, but the receptionist directed us to park at a space behind the hotel building. The hotel was walking-distance to famous sights at Reykjavik. I highly recommend it for families.

It is a basic European hotel. We stayed in a suite.the room and bed were both very large. Honestly the best part about the room was the large black out style curtains that allowed us to sleep in after our Northern Lights tour. The breakfast was similar to all others....we stayed at 3 places and I would put this hotel as number 3. They had the typical muesli, yogurt, fruit, jam, etc. They had a great selection of bread but everything else had more of a processed food, American feel. If you like McDonald's breakfast egg from a carton then you might can actually eat the "omelette". The location is fantastic!! Overall the one disappointment is that I love how all over Europe lodging typically provides a play area for kids...no such luck here.
