Libertel Gare Du Nord Suede

The family room that they provided us had no window and the air condition was broken. So basically there was no way to breathe in the room.

Great room for a family

Not enough room around the bed. Once in the shower, my body in the way to shut the shower door ( I’m a slim person) I don’t think even a child could fit in it then shut the door. So had to shower with the door open adding the chore of mopping the floor afterwards.

This should be a one star hotel. We had two rooms. Aircondition in one room keep shutting off. Asked for maintenance to look at it. They refused and made us feel guilty for even asking. Not a family friendly either. May be like a hostel if you are desparate.

This is a small hotel located a 4 minute walk from Gare du Nord train and metro station. The RER train from CDG takes about 20 minutes, costs 11 Euros and then the hotel is minutes away. The staff is friendly, the hotel is very clean and its best feature is the close proximity to the Metro and RER trains. There are a large number of Trip Advisor restaurants within 2 to 5 minutes from the hotel. There are also a number of fast food outlets, so eating close to the hotel is affordable on most all budgets. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

I booked this last minute because we were taking the train from London to Paris & it was absolutely perfect. It was clean, spacious, staff was amazing & they will hold your bags for free when you stay here. Originally we booked 1 night but after seeing how great this location was to the metro & how walkable the rest of Paris was from here we stayed 3 nights. I highly recommend this place!! Breakfast was ok but I definitely suggest skipping it & go to the little bakery 1/2 way between here & Gare Du Nord station on the right because everything there is delicious. Tons of restaurants & bars around here as well. It has everything you need nearby without city center prices.. Inc the food nearby at great prices too. Every time I come back, this is where I will stay. There were 3 of us in the room & aside from the air being off because it was cooling down outside (we just opened the window at night) this hotel was fabulous!! Perfect for a family or a couple! Walk to all the sites, take the RER to Disney or back to CDG, take the train to London because this location is sheer perfection for it all!!! Walking distances.. 35 mins to the river, 40 to Notre Dame, 45 mins to Eiffel Tower, 3 mins to Gare Du Norde, 1 min to the best bakery, 40 mins to the Louvre, 36 mins to Hard Rock Cafe... if you get a room on the top floor, you ll have a view of the Eiffel tower as well.

The hotel was really close to Gare du Nord. The room was clean and bigger than we were expecting. The room had some updates but also had some worn areas as well. We were only looking for a space to rest our head that was clean and close. The staff were lovely and the room was affordable. It was neat as our room was outside accessed by a courtyard which is common in Paris. The shower didn’t drain as fast as the water came out so the washroom flooded a bit. But all in all was a good place to stay with my family.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights during a recent family break in Paris. It is located at a busy boulevard, between the Gare du Nord and Gare de L' Est train stations. This makes it very convenient if you plan to use any of these stations. Rooms are clean but small, as is often the case in Paris. Staff were always helpful and eager to help. Recommended.
