Best Western Plus City Centre/Centre-Ville

Good with kids, but cleanliness to ne improved

First of alli wasnt impressed that you had to pay for parking 32 plus tax a night and it was a spot on the side of the building then because we booked thru hotels.com we werent entitled to the complimentary breakfast. Will not be staying there again or would not recommend any of my friends or family to stay there..

The property was just ok- what you would expect for the price. The pleather headboards were peeling and the window outside our room was leaking from the rain. The dinner restaurant was very nice but I wouldn’t recommend for families because the options were not child friendly. The breakfast restaurant was good- overpriced but typical of a hotel restaurant. The hotel is unfortunately located in a less desirable part of the city and you will have to walk by many homeless any time you head out.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The room was spacious and clean. It had everything a hotel room is supposed to have. The location is a bit of a walk from the old town but it’s still close enough. There are some restaurants and stores around the hotel. During summer, the walk should not be an issue at all. The parking was very easy. There is a parking lot for the hotel for an extra charge or there are several parking lots around the hotel (indigo). The check-in/out process was quick and the staff were friendly and had no issues with communication. The pool seemed nice but since there is no sauna or steam room it was a bit cold for us to go in during winter season and there was a few kids playing with their parents splashing water in the pool so didn’t get to take advantage of this amenity. However, the pool area was nice and they offer pool towels upon entry so you don’t have to bring them yourself.

PROS: -Hotel is very near to all visiting places -easy access to public transportation…. CONS: 1.We reserved 2 rooms for 2 families…we traveled with 2 kids for each family….when comes to cleaning, it’s really very very upset. we stayed for 3nights 4days,they have cleaned the room only for first day and out of 2 beds they cleaned only 1 bed ….immediately I called help desk and informed, they said we will takecare. But nothing has done…second day they didn’t come for cleaning, so no soaps, no coffee cups…etc which was not at all acceptable…. 2.Swimming pool, its a indoor pool, because of closed doors felt lot of bad smell from pool area, immediately I took out my kids from the pool, and we avoided swimming for our remaining stay. 3.in the evening time, when I asked for some extra milk creams and coffee packets, help desk person asked me to come and pick up because they don’t have any persons to come and give us 4. Bathroom doors are fully noisy when we open and close….it disturbed alot especially during night times. 5.bathroom shower is tooo noisy, when one person is doing bath we heard that sounds outside the room also…which was very inconvenient. 6.overall stay is not at all worthy by paying 200-300$ CAD for each day.

Lovely stay! Micheal, the server from the restaurant was absolutely wonderful with my kids. Great staff!

Very pet friendly (thank you!). Hotel seems to be brand new. Lots of night-life in the area. A steep (but extremely picturesque) uphill walk to Old Quebec. Pool was ok - kids had fun, but it could have been cleaner and bigger from my perspective. Overall, though, we would stay again.
