The Larix Hotel

I read many glowing reviews of The Larix Hotel that convinced me to book a stay for my family, and our experience at the hotel was even better than expected! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful décor and the warm, welcoming ambience at the hotel. The gentleman who checked us in was lovely and helpful, answering all our questions before we even thought of them, and taking his time to show us around the hotel. The rooms and the common areas are so nice you could essentially never leave the hotel, and you'd still have a wonderful, relaxing experience. Every detail has been thought of, from the locally sourced toiletries to the tasty and beautiful breakfast spread. We were travelling with two small children, and, at first, I was a bit anxious about having them there because the vibe of the hotel is definitely geared to quiet adults. However, we were all made to feel welcome and comfortable. An absolutely charming and wonderful spot - I highly recommend The Larix Hotel!

Larix Hotel is a beautiful, family run hotel. Everything about our stay was very good. The family is wonderful and any concerns, questions, etc. were dealt with promptly and cheerfully. The beds were very comfortable, the provision of a snack table for guests, the lounge was lovely with books, comfortable seating, and gas fireplace and the complimentary breakfast was what I liked. I definitely will return!

Amazing location in such a beautiful town. The staff at this hotel made you feel like you were family, made you feel like you were at home and had all the essentials available to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend this location for your next stay in Kimberley.

The Larix Hotel feels like a quaint, family-run bed and breakfast. The hotel is beautifully decorated and quiet. The breakfast was more than we expected from a “continental” offering. Our only complaint is that the air conditioning unit is set up right next to the bed and cold air blew directly onto us but if we turned it off it was too warm.

Staff (owners) were incredibly welcoming and over and above with every single aspect of our stay. Treated you like family. This is a family owned and run operation and when you are a guest, you are family. I can’t speak highly enough about this property. Beautifully well done and awesome all around, if you haven’t had the opportunity to stay here, you must. Every detail is carefully adhered to. Amenities are too notch. Property is immaculate, bedding and linens too notch. I can’t speak highly enough

This is a beautiful hotel. Very nicely decorated with places to relax with friends or family to sit and enjoy each other's company. Great little breakfast area. Very friendly staff. We were late arriving but they left the keys for us when we arrived. We will definitely come to stay there again.
