Swans Brewery, Pub and Hotel

A nice boutique hotel. Each room is different and well appointed. Original art from the founders family on the walls. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Check in was easy. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. No A/C but even with a record breaking heat wave we were pretty comfortable. Swan’s supplied fans and the evenings cool off nicely due to the breeze off the harbour. Mattress on the pull-out couch could have been better but it wasn’t so bad that it kept us awake after chasing Grandkids around all day😓

Awesome location and really easy check in. We had the studio with the king bed and it was perfect for us and our toddler son.

Very spacious unit that fit my family of 5. Convenient location as well.

Went to Victoria with my family & stayed at the Swan for 3 nights. Overall, it was a great experience. The staff at the hotel & restaurant were wonderful. Room was clean and the kitchen area was a great plus to find here. Nice views of the harbor and so close to everything: shopping, night life, restaurants, & sights. Only drawbacks were there isn't any air conditioning so during the warmer days it gets stuffy in the room unless you leave a window open which, since it is in a very high traffic and foot-traffic area, it can be kind of noisy even late into the evening. Only other negative (but the proprietors cannot be faulted for this just fact of life of being on the fringe of downtown) is there can be a few homeless people hanging out on the sidewalks near the hotel, asking for change. Now my family are a bunch of travelers so this really wasn't that annoying to us but I could understand people with younger less traveled children not being as comfortable in this area as closer to the inner harbor/parliment building area. We are a group of adults & teens that have experienced a lot of this around the states so wasn't really a problem for us. All of our party actually liked staying here as it was really close to shopping, breweries, sites, and restaurants. Overall, we had a great experience here, would stay again, and recommend it to others. Just maybe not for the sheltered or skittish crowd.

Great place for a family adventure! Space for 6, full kitchen, 2 stories. Convenient, walkable location. Friendly staff. Carpet is a little run down but it felt clean. Have a pint of beer in the pub but go somewhere else for dinner.
