Having the bedroom was a nice bonus but the blinds are definitely not black out and having a frosted door on the bedroom wasn’t ideal when trying to nap a toddler.
I’m not a picky traveler but I was
Very unhappy with check out, finding out I had to pay an extra $20 for parking when I had already spending $300 for one night was a little ridiculous. When booking it said parking was available there was nothing stating it was an additional $20 which was a big bummer we had a great stay but probably won’t be back I think parking should be included especially when your guests are spending a lot of money to be staying at your hotel

Wanted to love this sweet and cute locally owned hotel conveniently located near the harbour. The room was well appointed, amenities good, no extra fees for parking and excellent helpful staff, but as mentioned by a few other guests, the walls are thin and sound can be heard from other rooms. Now normal sounds, no problem. But the hotel has adult films channel, which the drunken neighbouring room was enjoying throughly.
Hotels will say ‘set parental controls’ but my kid has already grabbed the remote and checked out the tv/movie platforms as I’m busy unpacking. It’s just tacky at an upscale hotel- period. But especially unfortunate at a hotel that already has noise leakage issues.
For this reason, we won’t be back.

We had a great stay at the Chateau Victoria hotel and suites. It was in easy walking distance to the inner harbour, downtown and all attractions we wanted to see. The suite we stayed in was spacious, with a separate bedroom and a full kitchen which worked well for our family of four. Everything was clean. Check in and service was great, can’t comment on the pool or the restaurant(s) but lots of options for coffee and dining around.

My family and I had such a perfect experience at Chateau Victoria. The room was amazing and spacious, all the staff we met were warm and passionate about their service, and the 18th floor restaurant there was exceptional. We will return to Victoria eventually and there is no chance that we would stay anywhere else.

Very friendly staff and accommodating! The suite we stay at is spacious with a patio and two rooms and a kitchen, which works so well for a family like us. My boys had a great time playing at the pool and hot tub. I get to use the exercise room next to the pool. Will definitely stay here again at our next visit to Victoria!!

Hands down, the best hotel in Victoria! We had such a warm welcome from the get go, all staff were so helpful and friendly. Our one bedroom suite was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had a balcony with a lovely view. It’s in a convenient location, close to several shopping and restaurants. If you are going somewhere close by, the hotel even offers complimentary shuttle. Definitely would only stay here from now on. I love that it’s a family owned hotel as well.

Beds are very comfortable. Quiet with the windows and balcony door closed. Staff was kind, courteous and accommodating. It was nice to be able to talk to the gentleman that created the Lego replica of the hotel and he talked to the kids about different aspects of it and show them which room we were staying in. the only thing was the hot tub was a little too hot, but it was still nice and relaxing. We will definitely be back

We were placed in a room by the elevator which was extremely noisy. Room doors slamming throughout the evening and morning and kids were running and screaming in the halls. Air conditioning was a separate unit and also very noisy. We tried to do without it but it got hot and stuffy so we had to turn it back on. We only got a couple hours sleep due to the uncomfortable conditions. The room was also small but that didn’t matter as much as the noisiness. We informed the staff of problems that evening and again at checkout but they didn’t seem to care. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on our experience

This hotel location wins hands down. All the downtown attractions were walkable - Legislative assembly building, Empress hotel in case if you wanted high tea, harbor view, Royal BC museum, lot of restaurants (Ithaka which is next door), China town, Bastion square etc. We didnt have to take our car out for local sight seeing (took the water taxi to reach Fisherman's wharf and the taxi pick up point was also close by). The beds were good and the bathroom was clean/tidy. This hotel has a restaurant which we didnt visit but went to the restro bar where we had a drink (only 19 adults are allowed). We didnt use the swimming pool either but got to know from my wife that isnt that big/lengthy one either. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are traveling as a family (my room has 2 queen beds which was convenient for us). There is a starbucks diagonally opposite if in case you drink a lot of starbucks coffee/drinks. Has valet parking and the parking fee is CAD 20 per night (a lot of hotels around this area charged for parking and hence I was ok with that). Last but not the least - super friendly staff.
