Courtyard by Marriott Calgary South

Let us check in 5 hours early as we were traveling with a baby, crib was set up in our room, front desk assisted with our baggage. Zero stress travel with this hotel!

First time at this Courtyard Marriott! Staff, services & building were excellent. Very friendly staff,who greeted us with a smile all times. Could not have asked for better service that was exceptional. Will refer this location to family & friends!!

Check in was very easy. Staff very knows and friendly. Pool area was full of children having lots of fun, but therefore for very loud and noisy so not for adults wanting to relax. But wonderful space for kids!

We could hear the live music in their lounge from the 6th floor. Plays every Friday and Saturday from 9pm to 1am. No one provided advance notice. We have young kids. No one slept. We called the front desk at 11pm and were told that our only option was to move hotels. Terrible. Will never stay here again. If you value a decent sleep and don’t want to hear drums and bass until 1am, steer clear.

Great room design for our family.

Hotel is beautiful and clean but the live band playing right as you walk in the door is less than desirable, you can’t talk with front staff because of the rock concert happening as soon as you walk in. We asked for the top floor so that we could sleep and not hear it. Beds are AWFUL and I recommend to bring your own pillows because theirs are so big your neck and back get strained. Was not impressed you have to pay for parking on top of the $200/night room fee … AND there’s only a bar to eat in. Brining your children into a bar for breakfast in the morning is the worst, definitely was not expecting there to be no continental breakfast. Although the building is nice and clean we will not stay again. This is NOT a family friendly hotel.
