Carriage House Hotel & Conference Centre

This hotel is probably great, but I can’t think of anything positive since they gave us a room directly above a wedding, that is still playing very loud music at 11pm. I have a baby who sleeps at 7! Absolutely unacceptable. Extremely disappointed.

Took my toddler to stay for the weekend and we really enjoyed our time at the hotel. All of the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. We initially got a pack n play that was broken and they quickly sent someone up with one that was functional. One thing that would have made our stay better would have been a microwave in our room. There is a small bar fridge, but no microwave in the king room. The outdoor pool, hot tub, and sauna were lovely however the hot tub jets were broken for the entire duration of our stay. The breakfast buffet was good and had a decent variety of hot food compared to a lot of hotel continental breakfasts. The staff in the restaurant were also amazing and prepared for kids with paper cups with lids and straws.🙂 Location was also great. Centrally located and walking distance to many restaurants and amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

Other than children screaming a bunch Saturday night the stay was fine. Small bathroom.

The hotel was decent but nothing to rave about. The bathroom is so small and tight. There was hardly any chairs in the room. I only stayed since it was close to family but otherwise, would not go back nor recommend. It was okay.

Third time staying at the Carriage House. They upgraded our room and made sure to put all out of town family on the same floor which was greatly appreciated. The rooms have been recently renovated and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that wasn't 5 star was the breakfast....it was okay just not great.

What an unexpected surprise. Booked this property based on location being close to the hospital and having a restaurant. Didn’t expect the food to be wonderful,or the staff and service to be so friendly and caring. Came in on a family medical issue, and this was such a peaceful safe haven from stressful times…what a lovely hotel…top notch

Great place to get away with the kids as they spent 2 days in the heated pool.

I was offered a room upgrade but chose to stay in a standard room on the lower floor. The staff at the Carriage House hotel were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us and treated us like family. This applies to the reception staff, the cleaning personnel and the dining staff. The food was wonderful, and there was a free hot breakfast buffet which varied from day today, so we had lots of choices. I liked the fact that they sold fresh baking in the foyer, available all day, and there was also a small convenience store. Taxis arrived very quickly and often parked directly outside the hotel. We had access to a wheelchair, and there was always a staff member available to help with it. I would highly recommend the Carriage House hotel and would definitely stay there again.
