Spacious rooms (enough room for roll away single beds), great health club, amazing buffet breakfast. We had 4 little kids with us and the staff were helpful and understanding, made us feel welcome.

Have been coming here for a decade. Hotel is always well presented but now starting to date, 5g coverage is poor so have to use hotel wifi, rooms are clean staff are helpful and friendly facilities are ok, gym equipment is substandard, pool is ok but heavy on chlorine. Tennis court is out of action and no basketball ring or other offering for kids. Tend to eat out as food is okay but like all hotel food a bit mass produced rather than of a high quality. Place is always quiet never hear anyone else in the hotel. Like the position so easy to walk to so much stuff. Parking outdoors 3hr limit is fine as you should be out doing stuff anyway but can be a bit annoying but wouldn’t pay $30 for basement parking per day. Overall it’s a reliable hotel one we’ve enjoyed staying at fir over a decade when in Canberra

We had a great stay as a family of 5. The rooms were really spacious and comfortable. The letdown was the housekeeping, very inconsistent. We had to constantly ask for linens, toiletries and mini bar items that weren’t restocked. The service wasn’t what I’ve previously had at Hyatt or other 5 star hotels.

This property was close to all activities. I didn’t like that I booked for x3. Was asked age of child. Quoted a price but then asked to pay more on the day for the child to have a bed. After conveying my disappointment to the night manager he agreed with me and removed the charge for the child’s bed.😁

We love the Hyatt, having stayed there many times as a family over the years. This stay was very comfortable and the room was spacious and well appointed. The issue was service related. First - at a property at this level you'd expect a 'Welcome Back' right as you go to check in. That's only a really small issue, but there was a mix up with check in and the front desk treated this issue (not ours) as a 'too hard'. Once we'd checked in we went down to the brasserie area and asked for the menus to have some lunch (two adults / two young children). The young French/Australian gentleman told us his staff were busy setting up for high tea at 2pm. We explained that we were in house guests and would be out by 130pm given we were with our children. He offered us a table outside in the cold. There were over 40 - 50 tables inside with six staff in view. Again; too hard. Not good enough. Luckily we ventured up to the cafe and got the most magnificent service from the lady there. In short - the staff really need to be trained to make guests feel special and to let them spend their money... When you're a five star hotel your staff need to be outstanding service providers...
