Nice art deco hotel, clean & well kept, has free EV charging at the front - main reason I booked the hotel (but no proper car park for it, awkwardly placed, and the carpark is often taken by other cars or motorcycles). Car park at the back cost $17 (quite pricey). Also has laundry but couldn't figure out how to use it. Most guests are elderlies, not many people with kids. The restaurant is quite pricey too. Location is in the office area, but short drive to all the tourist attractions. Pretty surroundings. Probably more suitable for couples/ retired/ business trips, rather than family with young kids.

Excellent location, pleasant reception and clean room. We stayed in an interconnecting room which gave access to 2 king sized beds and 2 full sized bathrooms helping family of 4 stay and have privacy for parents and kids. We also were served specially ordered vegetarian meal from the restaurant.

Cosy hotel with a great atmosphere. We enjoyed a meal in the hotel followed by drinks in the bar til late - a great place to stay and to host family and friends. My go to when I stay in Canberra from now on.

Long wait to get checked in only one person on counter which was on phone. Was told parking is $17.00 but wasn’t guaranteed a park. We had an interconnected room as I had 2 kids with me, nice rooms but tiny the room I stayed in the bathroom stunk. Once I walked in and smelt it I knew it was the drain. The fridge constantly rattled and was so loud to sleep. I don’t think for the price $400 I paid for the night it was worth it. The in room dining was rubbish. $5 for a glass of lemonade which was full of ice. Had half a can of lemonade Normally they would bring the can up with the left over lemonade. Nope! Have to pay a service fee for in room dining. Kids had to sit on floor to eat as the tiny table was not big enough. Menu not kid friendly at all. Had to pay extra to use a credit card found that out after I paid the reception never mentioned that. Breakfast was just off menu. As soon as I got to the room I knew I should have booked else where. Was disappointing to bring to kids away and the hotel not have a Buffett. Wouldn’t recommend
