I thought the building itself was beautiful. Although i didn't use it, i thought the outside seating looked peaceful. I would suggest never, not ever, use a cot..for anyone unless you don't like them. I'm not sure why the 2 electric slides are only open from 5pm-8pm, especially since you can still use the Waterpark the day of checkout. The only other slide has a weight limit of 150lbs. They rules out most people I would think. The food was average and a bit pricey. Two orders of fries out of 5 were cold, grilled chicken breast was mostly gristle, and very tough. I don't recommend the shakes, they are almost tastless and pricey for what you get. 5 take out meals plus 5 shakes and no bags. We had to ask the front desk for a few to carry it all. We stayed one night. Mostly for little ones in my opinion

I just needed one night for my family as we were passing by. It was only $100 and i knew it was risky for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby area was warm and inviting. The decorations and theme was cute. The front sitting area tastefully put together. The rooms were decorated very cute as well. For the price, it was simple yet homey. Pretty beds and very nice wood furnature. Bathroom and room were meticulously clean and well maintained. Ample plug ins and charging areas. Nice big desk and dresser. Fridge and microwave in room. There is a pool and nice nice ànd warm hot tub. Again, for one hundred dollars, i was surprised. The pool was actually large with an area for basketball hoops , 3 actually. 2 nice waterslides for the kids. 1 slide off pool too. There's a small area for kids with a large water fall type sprinkler. The continental breakfast was nice. Juices, coffee, cereal, waffles, sausages, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt. Again, for $100 very nice and really everything you need. Everything was so very clean and organized. There was a little diner but we didn't check that out. A cute hotel, smaller, and very much, exceeds, $100. Though we don't make it up to Wisconsin Dell's often, i would definitely stay here again. Again, very clean, simple, and friendly staff. Truly, there is nothing that anyone could complain about. It's well kept and someone should be proud to have this delightful gem.

My family and I decided to stay here because of the water park, it’s excellent it’s geared towards younger kids but still has an average sized pool and hot tub for the older kids/adults. The only thing we felt could have had some improvement is the cleanliness of the rooms. We stayed in 2 rooms, and upon arriving the one room had a hair tie on the floor (we first thought whatever, could have fallen out of a house keepers pocket maybe?) but then our second room we found a can of Copenhagen pouches on the floor by one of the beds. After finding that it made us feel a bit uneasy wondering how clean our room truly was. We also called down for extra pillows, and were told they didn’t have a single one extra available. Regardless of those few things, we definitely plan to return if the opportunity presents itself. Oh we were also very surprised to find out neither of the rooms had microwaves in them, we were traveling with a couple week old baby and heating up a bottle made it difficult to do so without having a microwave handy.

Resort seemed ok and reasonably priced for what we needed. Property has a rustic nature feel to it but is outdated and lacked modern design. Breakfast area and restaurant were closed during our stay so cannot review those at this time. Felt more like a cheap bargain roadside inn lacking staff and maintenance than an upscale water park resort. Room was acceptable and modestly maintained for our needs so no complaints there. However there’s absolutely no supervision in water park area which could be dangerous especially with so many families and kids but there are signs posted indicating that you are unsupervised and swimming at your own risk. Game room also seemed boring and wasn’t attractive nor were games working or stocked with prizes. not really worth a visit but there is ample space for gatherings and such. Honestly overall for a family looking for a budget getaway this place works. Has a nice golf course and banquet facility attached for bigger gatherings.

Rooms are great. Mini waterpark perfect for kids. Rooms don’t have microwave. Women’s bathroom in waterpark is small. All together great for a short weekend stay.

It was a stop over due to a winter storm, but I can see the appeal if you had children, the waterpark looked fun for kids.

I will NOT stay at this hotel again! When I checked in, the front desk person didn't even crack a smile. I got to the room and noticed stains on the carpet, hair in the hair dryer, and a moldy shower curtain. I went to the lobby and waited a good 10 minutes for someone to appear at the front desk. While I was waiting, small children were running around and screaming in the lobby while the parent was eating pizza in the sitting area ignoring their kids. Mind you they have a "waterpark" for the kids at this location. No adult pool at this hotel. I asked the front desk to change the moldy curtain and all this time I felt like I was a bother and not a welcome guest. Long story short, the shower curtain was never changed. Everything in this lodge is outdated, they are using the same sheets, towels, and pillows. Their "continental breakfast" is slim pickings. Cold hard-boiled eggs with make-your-own waffle station with unedible batter.
