Best Western Baraboo Inn

Clean. Friendly. Other clientele were mostly families. Great breakfast! My only thing, the toilet was an older low model with no handicap rail next to it.

Checking into our room was a breeze, however, when entering the room, there was a faint smell that wasn’t so pleasant. The bathroom smelled even worse, musty. One of our towels had red stains on them. The hotel was much smaller than the pictures make it seem, but it was alright for the price. Being on the smaller side, this meant there weren’t many options for breakfast but the food was good anyway. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but the pillows just sucked; they made my neck hurt each time I woke up. Also found some hairs we know were not ours inside the blankets, weird yellow stains as well. Overall, the main problem was the cleanliness of this hotel. I’d say if you’re looking for an affordable hotel for a family trip, this one is alright, but there are probably better options. The one nice thing was, the staff was kind and respected your privacy.

First... the guy at the counter accused me of being a hooker and making out with someone in the parking lot and then he informed me that my friend was waiting for me in my room. Ummmm i was with my husband the entire evening, not even near this hotel, i live far away and have no friends in the area, especially males. It was disgusting and embarrassing to be thought of this in that way. Just a weird and disappointing stay all together that caused discomfort for both my husband and I. Would never, ever stay again. Disgusted to know there are hookers that frequent the hotel and even more disgusted to be mistaken for one on a family trip with my husband. Just gross. Class up

Great stay! Nice staff, clean rooms, fun pool and hot tub for the kids, great breakfast. Conveniently located. Can walk to restaurants and near devils state park.

I've stayed here before and it was nice. The staff was great, but when i get there at 5pm and the ice machine is empty because someone just filled there cooler.... that really irritated me. You need to put a sign on the machine that you can't fill your coolers. And i don't mind kids but when parents let there kids run a muck that's wrong too!!

Excellent stay! Staff were quick to fix issue we had Pool isn’t marked with correct depth- which made me Leary to take my kids Otherwise- excellent, clean and safe place to stay!

The staff was the best part of the stay. Daniel was an amazing manager that put his guests first. Breakfast was just ok but having oatmeal, toast, OJ to start the morning really worked for the kids. Could really use a makeover on coffee. Pool was a great treat for the kids also.

I put my family up in 3 rooms and they loved breakfast and everything about the hotel - friendly staff!
