Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin Dells

We are frequent visitors to Wisc Dells. This was our first time at Great Wolf Lodge. We had a great time. They had so many family friendly events. We will definitely stay again. The only thing we would change is how warm the indoor water parks were:)

Paying for parking in a Midwest small town told me how greedy this company is. This ain’t Chicago or NYC They had “shows” in the grand lobby where all enter and walk around, that same area the families sat on that floor… gross! But they had yoga mats for the yoga session????the elderly could not sit down on the floor and get back up. Only seating was for small children. They assumed grandparents were not around? Never saw a hand sanitizer station in the entire building. Bathroom was tiny in our rooms and even the large hotel restrooms were huge but getting into them with elongated toilets and the door you had to shimmy around to shut the door. No way two people could ever get in together. So much for helping a small child use it! Food sucked! Was expensive not worth it! Employees were great and helpful

Checking in to this place is a nightmare. Showed up at 6:00 and took long enough that my kids didn’t get to use the water park. Literally took an hour and a half to check in after my 11 hour drive to get there. I’m never going back to a great wolf lodge!

We had a great time! Magiquest was pricey but the kids enjoyed it.

Most of the water park staff didn't seem to speak English and were so tuned in on the "routine" of counting and looking at the edges of the swim areas that they didn't seem to notice children that may have been struggling in the water. Bathroom tub drain was SUPER slow, room was just average for a "Family Suite", we had 3 and I can't imagine having 4 or more in a room that small.

Be prepared to pay to park. It’s $15 a night. We stayed in the cozy room with a couple of bunk beds for kids. My child found numerous things left behind in the bed from a previous person. The carpet had stains and the pull out bed was broken. The queen bed sunk in the middle. The restaurant the lodge wasn’t good. We paid 20% gratuities for mediocre service. The steak I received was half raw half medium. It wasn’t busy either. The pool closes at 8. The water was luke warm. You can only use the pool towels in that area or you will be charged $15 per towel. The kids and I were freezing walking back to our room. The activities were nice but very short. Overall, I wouldn’t stay again.
