What a hidden jewel! The history behind the hotel makes this place a must stay. Friendly staff. Enjoyed drink on the patio! Room was wonderful. Jeremiah gave us a mini peak around the hotel that added such interest. Everyone working there made us feel more like family than a guest.

What an INCREDIBLE hotel. It was beautiful and we were treated extraordinarily. I will only stay there when I am in the area again to visit family.

Clearly a top-notch hotel, despite being relatively affordable. Beautiful, well-equipped rooms. Comfortable. The on-site restaurant closed a few minutes after we arrived and while affordable for a special night out, is not really suitable for an unplanned family dinner on the road. We were delighted though, that when we ordered delivery, the hotel generously provided plates and glasses for our use.

Started with a spa "manager" (yeah, right) contacting me to ask if I'd like to reserve spa services. I listed those i wanted for all three of our family members. It took three days and me telling her to just give me a quote, by which time i was just irritated and told her to forget it. The hotel has great potential but only if they clean the place up and find some conscientious employees. Nothing was open at times they'd indicated, parking is in rear alley a block away, and the room was nothing great. Brunch is WAY overpriced and ok at best. We paid $300 for a dinner that consisted of a raw steak, rotten fish, alfredo that was little more milk, and roasted Brussel sprouts that weren't roasted but fried in months-old multipurpose oil. The charcuterie board was served with Club crackers! Tacky and digusting! Overall, I'm just thoroughly mad about time and money wasted on this place. It's a joke. Unless they do something major to this building and the staff, I'll go out of my way to discourage people from it. It's horrible across the board.
