The hotel was clean, spacious, and comfortable; however, the best attribute of the Holiday Inn in Tacoma WA was the friendliness of its employees. From desk clerk Jasmine, who made sure we understood all the perks we were eligible for to restaurant waiters Kathi and Lori, who treated us as if we were family members (they even spent several minutes finding the TV program we wanted to watch!), we were overwhelmed by the hospitality of this friendly, outstanding hotel! Highly recommended!

We had a great stay, my kids loved the pool and the staff was very nice. Overall one of the best hotels me and my family had stayed. Will book again!!

It’s good to bring this out! Breakfast is not provided for FREE! There is a restaurant in the hotel for purchasing meals! I normally don’t leave reviews, but this time decided too. We had Room with two queens that and one sofa. Room was good size for our family, other concerns were brought up to hotel staff. I think will be beneficial for sofa, rollout that to invest in the new mattress. That mattress is not comfortable for children to sleep on since they were lightweight and little. If an adult would sleep on it, it’s not comfortable because of the metal poking into humans back. Please consider replacing/ investing in new mattresses for sofa beds. Thanks

The staff was very nice and super helpful even when I accidentally booked myself twice on the same day on accident. It was also really cool that the kids ate free at the restaurant.

I could not even check-in for my stay. The parking lot was packed, due to the comedy club that is in the hotel… there was a huge crowd and the entire facility REAKED of marijuana. I did not feel safe checking into this facility alone with my three children. Hotel reception would not answer phones and has refused to refund my booking. There was NO mention of this club or an event on the Expedia site and obviously no regard for guests with families.

The main reason reserved this hotel was their indoor swimming pool, but the water temperature was too cold, so requested to raise the temperature but that was maximum temperature they could have….it was sad my kid could not enjoy swimming much. Other than that, the room was very clean and the staff was friendly 👍
