It was horrible! We first got there she said we didn’t have reservation for two rooms. We had three rooms. One of my other family had a room in her name. The staff was so racist and problematic she made up anything not to resolve the problem. She’s even tried to charge us more for the rooms when I knew I already had reservations. I will not be returning. Ever! This hotel is a rip off. They pick and choose who they want to be nice too. Took my Deposit! Made up some bogus stories that didn’t happen or no knowledge of that it happened. We was being watch and followed by the security guard and front desk ladies!
If we did smoke, it was always outside never in the building. Front desk said someone smoked in the public bathroom. Which was a lie. I thought kids stay free under a certain age. I won’t be spending my money here at this Best Western and I will make sure I tell my friends not to stay here and everybody that was with me., I will make sure they put in a there own opinion about what happened.
The tall white security guard didn’t say too much. He just followed whatever the ladies at the front desk told him to do which was really weird.

Great location, easy check in, super clean, great breakfast. Only complaint I have is about the pool deck - it is so slippery and I watched many people (kidd & adults) slip, fall and hurt themselves!

Lady working the front desk was very rude from the moment we checked in. Later I took my children down to the pool for a swim there were no towels so we went and kindly asked for them and she told us she would be down to restock them at which she never did. Nearly an hour later we had to go down to the front desk sopping wet and ask for towels. I'm sure they were not Happy by this because now not only was there lobby floors all wet so was the entire hall that we had to walk down to get to the lobby. We were cold, the pool water was cold. Our view was of Hustlers Hollywood (try explaining that one to your children). I guess I'll have to do better research next time on surrounding stores. They do not have enough parking to accommodate their guest. If you have to leave at night for any reason plan on parking across the way at Goodwill. At least they have security on duty 😬. The morning of check out (which is 11), housekeeping knocked on our by 10am to see if we were out. Despite some of the negatives thankfully the rooms did appear very clean, nice lobby, and Continental breakfast was good.

Our room was so comfortable and clean. It made a perfect retreat after our activities around town. My kids loved the pool.
The keurig in our room didn't work, but there was a complimentary 24-hour coffee space just off the lobby. So when I needed a cup of hot tea at night, I could walk out to the lobby real quick and get my tea.
The hotel seemed so new. Every space was clean and beautiful.

Pros: Rooms smell good and look clean upon arrival. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, no cut fruit or vegetables.
Cons: The reason for 3 stars is a pool story. We got to the pool with kids at 2pm, pool was empty, another parent showed up with little kid. Kids got into water with one of the dads, 3 minutes into swimming, father discovered human feces inside the pool (by stepping into it). Everyone got out immediately, kids were upset. We went to the front desk to inform the hotel representative about the pool. After our kids took showers we took them to playground. When we got back to the hotel, pool was open!!! With people swimming in it. We were gone maybe for an hour. Just to give you an example, 2 years ago when we stayed in the hotel some kid has puked in the pool area. Pool was closed for 24 hours! For chlorine shock treatment and full filtration cycle. Make your own judgement whether or not this pool was cleaned properly.
Bottom line, if you need to spend a night somewhere, this hotel is ok; if you want to enjoy your stay – pick some other place.

Our stay was fine. We did have a few ants in our room. The room was clean otherwise. The breakfast was great. Loved the waffle machine. Hotel staff were very warm and attentive. Will rebook when visiting family.

I can't speak to the inside of this property because when I arrived I chose to just turnaround and find a different hotel . I didn't even ask for a refund or bother with the hassle of trying to cancel, that's how little I wanted to stay at this place. What I will say is *read* the reviews closely and don't put too much weight into the overall rating until you've done so. Upon coming to town, I was informed by relatives that this hotel and surrounding area is prone to a lot of crime and should be avoided at all costs. I thought they were being overly cautious/protective. They were not - this area is super sketchy. We made last minute plans to stay at a hotel in a much safer location (Ruston Point). We forfeited $270 and the cost of another hotel room to avoid this hotel. We really don't have the means to do that but with two small children (and an non-refundable policy) it just wasn't worth the risk. I'm sure the staff and rooms are satisfactory but not worth the stress, in my opinion.

Still bummed the pool had not opened and there was no notification upon checking in. When we asked if there was a possibility of checking out early or getting a discount, the blame was out on Hotels.com and not the property (for not having notified us about the pool). Overall, this was just a frustrating start to our stay especially with two children who were excited for a family trip and the thought of using the pool over multiple days.
The breakfast was decent with a variety but not all items were stocked. The bar (that’s also advertised as being open), was indeed not open. It didn’t even appear close to being open.
Much to my surprise, especially when considering a brand new hotel… there were ants. We found multiple ants in our room and had family members also find some in theirs. Ants were also in the breakfast area. Yes, we’re not talking hundreds of ants, but there still were some throughout the property.
The location itself was decent enough and is nearby a Bass Pro Shop and a few eateries including Jimmy John’s and Wing Stop.
Overall, it was okay. Likely won’t return but also wasn’t the worst.
