I was able to stay here while visiting family so it was very convenient. I found the room clean and my night quiet. I like the convenience of having the light rail close by.

I had booked the room far in advance. I knew it was going to be a busy weekend in Seattle and I wanted to be able to have affordable choices for a room that would be comfortable as a family. That is exactly what we got. We got the single king suite. The 700sq feet was comfortable. I usually like something with a separate sleeping room but this was big enough that we could quietly watch TV and the kids could get to sleep. We brought 2 single inflatable airbeds for the kids. Pushed the couch over a bit and they had their own nice dark corner. They are teens, they like that. The room could have used a functional garbage can, the ones in the room and bathroom are tiny. The best part was that it was right up the block from the light rail thing. It was so easy to ride it in to town and then catch the monorail to the concert venue. It was Friday of mother's day weekend, Biden was in town, Melanie Martinez concert. We did it all without having to drive. Mom's like that. I would absolutely stay there again. And, the price was far better than some comparable rooms in downtown area or Capital Hill. The pool was just kind of Meh. It wasn't a deal breaker to have one, but the kids like to play in the water. I'll try a spa out usually, if they have one. This one was kind of a cooling bath, temperature. But whatever. We went an hour before it closed. It could have used a pick up, but they were waiting for all us people to leave. Hahaha...Earlier in the day it was nice.

We were quite disappointed in this experience. The photos online looked great, nice pool & hottub. But upon checking in we were told the swimming pool was closed. One of the main reason we booked thjs hotel is for the pool. So my kids were very much bummed out. Also hidden parking fees, breakfast very mediocre and bland. The hot water, coffee was always out and he to be asked to refill. No balcony even though again, advertising photos showed beautiful balconies. Feel we overpaid for the hotel and could have went with a lot cheaper option for the same experience.

The rooms were comfy. Unfortunately, the pool was empty and they did not advertise that it was closed. The hot tub was in working order but too many people were in it to use it and a child urinated in it, a parent pulled the child out but didn’t inform any staff. The windows are not fully covered so it’s hard to sleep with the sun directly in the room and at night the lights of the monorail flash by. There’s lots of noise from police cars and homeless around the walking areas. It’s close to a monorail station and mall so there’s options but best to travel on foot with safety items.

The pool is out of order and that was the main reason I booked this hotel. No mention of it on the website. Didn’t hear about it until after the check in process was already done! I had 2 disappointed kids. We don’t get out of town very often, so when we get out, we go all in. Not this time though.

We had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn in Seattle/Northgate. Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. The room and beds were comfortable, although another casual chair (in addition to the desk chair) would have been appreciated. There was also limited storage/drawer space for a lengthy visit, so we basically lived out of our suitcases. The room was cleaned or serviced on schedule and did not conflict with our plans. We especially appreciated the lobby and breakfast area, where we gathered often for games and conversation with family from the Seattle area. The ladies in charge of replenishing the daily breakfast area were very friendly and kept the buffet area immaculate. We also enjoyed the pool and fitness room. We would highly recommend this Hampton for anyone visiting Seattle, as the Light Rail system is only a 10-minute walk and accessible to most Seattle points of interest.

The room was clean and comfortable. The workout facilities were sufficient and the pool, while small, was enough to provide some fun and relaxation with the kids. The breakfast, however, was not very good, so we ended up have to go out and pay for breakfast each morning.

Overall the staff was really great and the hotel was okay. The beds were okay, but definitely flared my husband’s back issues. Our room had wet carpet when we came in and we dealt with the faint smell of urine the whole time. The pool was too painfully cold for me to swim in with my fibromyalgia, so that was a bit of a disappointment. I saw kids with chattering teeth trying to fight through the cold to have fun in the pool. The breakfast was decent as far as hotel breakfasts go and had a good variety of choices. The mini-fridge was a good size and we were pleased with that since we had brought our own food for packing lunches. Sound from people in other rooms didn’t travel too much, which was nice. Unfortunately, the sound of water from the other rooms was oddly loud. Like you expect to hear it, but it sounded so much louder than I’ve experienced before. The shower had decent water pressure, a deep bath, and plenty of room. The bathroom was nice and had convenient features. The space between the two Queen beds and desk/counter was pretty tight. I did see a king bed room in passing when the maids were cleaning and it looked really spacious. Overall, we were satisfied enough, but this might not be the place to stay if you are very particular.

We had tiny garbage bins which was awful since we had a toddler which needed diaper changes. Also, the towels were quite dirty & smelled really bad.
