Bluegreen Parkside Williamsburg Ascend Resort Collection

The resort itself was nice, we had a 2 bedroom suite which was clean and had plenty of space. We had an issue with a smell coming from the washing machine that was taken care of by the resort staff very quickly. The resort pool area was nice and the staff were friendly and responsive the few times we had contact with them. The issue with the resort is the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. Th resort is located along a highway and railway, but of which can easily be heard (including the train whistle) throughout the night, we were woken up every night at some point by the trains. You could also hear the kids running around in the room above us. The noise issue is the only reason I wouldn't stay here again, otherwise it's a great resort close to Jamestown, Williamsburg, Yorktown and Busch Gardens.

I spent 4 nights at Blue Green Parkside with my family and I must say that we had a great time. The staff had excellent customer service. The property was very clean and well maintained. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and it was very spacious for my family size. We will visit again in the future.

The room design is to small our dinning room table was in front of the refrigerator to where we was unable to open to place our food items in. Once we realized the heavy granite table could be moved a little bit we was able to use the refrigerator. We stayed in a two bedroom and we all couldn’t sit in the dining area at the same to enjoy breakfast together. The noise of children running across the floor at 5:30am every morning for a 4 day stay was so annoying especially when you paying your money and not a receiving a Tour stay we did end up taking the Tour to assist the wonderful young ladies who assisted us when we arrived. They just sat us down and showed pricing but no produce no Tour of the property they want us to purchase so we left.

Check in process was quick. I was given directions and suggestions to near by places. The area was clean and quiet during the night. I felt safe with my children here. I would definitely stay here when I come back to visit again.

Easy check in. The rooms were in excellent condition and made it a home away from home experience. Felt very comfortable and relaxing. My family enjoyed the game room above the registration area.

This property was close to my family about 3 minutes away. I was very disappointed for the money I shelled out for this property! What I didn't like that I had bugs in my unit I let the front office know about it and nothing happened. However I took video and pictures of the bugs, this was my first time staying here and will not be staying at Parkside again!

Our suite was very clean, well designed and felt very comfortable to stay in. Our kids loved the pool. Cleanliness is a priority for my family to be comfortable and our needs were met.

Amazing, our apartment was cozy clean and very comfortable, just perfect for a family of 5. My kids love the outdoor pool and the game room.

This is my second year at this property. Overall, I enjoy it - it's very comfortable having a condo and having plenty of space for everyone. The game room is great, the pool area is fun, and the staff is very friendly. This year, however, I was disappointed with the level of cleanliness. It wasn't *amazing* last year, but it was doable. This year, the pool wasn't clean. There was black algae all around the pool, which is treatable. The kids still went in the pool but the adults opted out, which was unfortunate. Also, the condo itself could've used a little extra TLC. The dishwasher didn't run properly - the detergent compartment wasn't opening and emptying properly so things didn't clean right. Things in the kitchen could've been cleaner. It doesn't seem that they ever mop the HW or tile floors, and I don't think they have a proper vacuum for the hard surfaces either. One miss I notice both years is inside the shower - I don't think anyone ever cleans the grout lines (literally ever) on the underside of the area where you step into the shower. It is BLACK, while the grout is supposed to be white. Another problem was the mattress in the primary bedroom - it was sinking on both sides of the bed so we were relatively uncomfortable this year (last year it was only sinking on one side). I would like to try the resort again next year, but it will be largely dependent upon reviews I read as the time approaches. Overall, we loved the location and feeling of a home vs. hotel.

Great family friendly vacation homes/resort. The suite was the perfect size, amenities were great and of course right around the corner from Busch Gardens.
