Loved the fact we stayed in the Colonial Williamsburg property area. We saw there was quite a few activities at the resort for kids to do. Very nicely tucked away amongst the trees. Quiet area and easy to get on the main road to get you to any part of colonial Williamsburg.

Woodlands is very peaceful as well as the staff are right on point. Also, a great place to take small kids. Victoria is the children’s activity coordinator. She was so wonderful and kind to our granddaughter Trinity. I would return and stay longer in the future. Free breakfast just needed more meat and hot items.

Hotel was wonderful! Within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg! The BEST buffet breakfast ever! Clean & spacious rooms, 2 nice pools, one for adults, another for kids! Laundry facilities & free onsite parking! Highly recommend this awesome hotel!

Great comfortable place to stay in Williamsburg family of hotels to save on tickets and parking. However, there is a huge miscommunication among staff and management. Continental Breakfast is so unorganized that many times hungry or not yet caffeinated adults bump into each other for just ok food that I paid extra for. Ice machines rarely work on first floor and don't work on any other floor. As long as you ask a million of the right questions up front and are aware of the chaos then by all means a great stay.

The hotel would be really wonderful because of the location and all it had to offer, but out adjoining rooms smelled so bad of mildew it was difficult to be comfortable. Other guests I spoke to said their room smelled of mildew also, and one guest told me she refused to stay in the room. They moved her family to another room, and she said it wasn’t as bad but a mildew smell was still there. The carpet felt damp in our room also.

Great value at this family friendly Hotel. The pools, free breakfast and parking takes stress away. Very different feeling from chain hotels. Not everything is perfect but its a darn good place if your visiting Colonial Williamsburg.

The perfect place, for a perfect family trip! Woodlands had great service and was conveniently located. The restaurant Huzzah was lacking in service, dining options and the bar tender was not available. Otherwise it was perfect overall.
