Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio North - Windcrest, an IHG Hotel

The room was not clean, the pool was dirty, old and stunk. The hotel was loud at night. The staff did address the loud family above us. However, they were loud the second night we stayed. Would never go back to this hotel. Disappointed in this IHG property.

My family and I had a family trip to SeaWorld and spend the first night at another hotel which was closer but it was not clean and location didn’t seemed safe, we canceled our reservation and went to Holiday inn, as soon as we walked in we saw the difference! Everything was so clean, smelled good, staff was polite and helpful and we felt safe… location was about 20-25 min away from sea world and about 12 min to downtown San Antonio…It was perfect. 10/10 for sure!

This could have been a 4 or 5 star review. However, we had an experience that cannot be overlooked. We stayed here for three nights. On the second night, as we were going to bed, the front desk called the room and said, "when you parked your car was it already wrecked?" No it was not. So my husband went downstairs to meet the police. There was footage from the security camera that showed a truck hit our parked car and drove off. But the worker on duty did not have access to zoom in on the license plate. So the police will have to come back when a manager is on duty. The next day we were stranded at the hotel until the rental car people could come and get us in the afternoon. So our last full day was wasted on car stuff. But no one from the hotel checked in with us to see how we were or if we needed anything. No one followed up at all, not even at check out. I had to ask if the police had come back to view the footage. Any time I asked about it, the workers would say "oh. I heard about that." But that was it. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service/care that the hotel showed to us. Now, it wasn't all bad. Morning breakfast was great. They had an actual breakfast where even my picky kids found something to eat. They even had dairy free milk. There is a non heated pool outside so my kids enjoyed that as well when it was warm in the afternoons.
