The main things I care about are cleanliness and safety, and this property is clean and safe and that is what matters most. On the other hand, it seems there was enough vacancy that no one HAD to be given the room next to the family with two small crying children but I was, either accidentally or because the person checking me in chose to. My room shared in the inside door with their room, making it even louder. I feel like at another property, someone might have cared enough to spare someone that since it seems to have been avoidable,. But I turned on the fan on the AC and bought a new noise app on my phone and was able to sleep eventually.

Was not a good stay, the bathroom light was out, the room was very clean stains on floor, felt they gave us the ectra room all due to booking on line, after complaining about it, they did state that because we book on on.line thru here, nothi g could be done ie change rooms, they would turn in a work order, not helpful or any way to change issues, would not recommend this hotel to friends or family, whichbi have already posted on social media..really the overall worst stay ive had anywhere from ny to California...

This is my go to hotel whenever I come to Dallas. I’ve always thought it was nice, clean (I did see a roach on my last night there; for the first time though) and affordable. If I wanted a little more, I’d book next door at the ES Suites. But one of the things what brew me to this hotel was the pet fee of $75. It’s usually more expensive to have my 2 fur kids boarded, so often times I’d bring them along. And this was a price I didn’t mind paying. Until now. Not only have they doubled, yes doubled, the price to $150, they’ve also added a $15 daily cleaning fee. And they’ve also made it a one pet policy. After checking out, my pet fee with all the other taxes, cost more than the initial stay. I like this hotel but unfortunately, this will probably be my last time staying here….

Definitely recommend this hotel! hotel ran out of 2 bed rooms when I checked in. The staff member (I believe DJ) went above and beyond to assist with this situation. He offered to send me and my family to their sister hotel next door. If this was at another hotel, they would have told me 1 bed room or nothing, which has happened before.

the property was clean, except that there were instances of bed bug as my kids got red marks on their skin. apart from that i had a comfortable stay at the property.

Almost everything was ok except when we checked in, we were told that we couldn’t use the swimming pool. WE HAD KIDS WITH US! That was not something we wanted to hear! You advertised a pool! if it is not going to be available, you should let people know on your website!
Breakfast for 1 adult and 2 kids was $51.64 which is ridiculous! We didn’t do that again!

Smells like animal, weed, cigarettes, and mold. All 5 of us got congested and our 3 kids were choking/coughing at night. It got so bad that we left after the 3rd night instead of staying 7 nights, and none of the workers seemed to do anything about it or try to stop people from smoking inside the building, other than one day it smelled like they dumped a whole bottle of purfume down the hall to try to cover it up. We felt like it was very unhealthy to be there, especially with our 3 kids. We checked out and went to a different hotel and almost immediately all of us started breathing better and stopped having the issues that we were having while staying at Sonesta. We've tried to reach the manager a few times to try to get a refund for the 4 days that we didn't end up staying there, and they never call back, they just ignore us. I definitely don't recommend staying here unless you want to smoke weed and cigarettes, and bring your huge dogs like everyone else did (which the pets were honestly fine, because it's a pet friendly hotel, but really they need to sanitize and clean better here because of it instead of just leaving animal pee and smashed in poop or whatever was in the carpets all the way down the hall, at least on the 2nd floor where we were. It was really Just nasty, unsanitary, and not a healthy environment to stay in. Also, it's unbelievable that the staff didn't act like they cared at all about people smoking inside. They were nice, but clearly didn't care. Yuck

Neighbors had a baby crying all night, staff did nothing about this when we complained.
Arrived at 2:50 but front desk refused to let us check in until 3pm.
