My family and I had a great vacation! The hotel met our needs and did not interfere with anything. Just like other reviews, there was a lot of light coming thru around the door, the floors and mirrors would get really wet, we had 3 people staying in the room and had 3 towels and only 1 wash rag, when we went to ask for more wash rags they didn’t have any so they gave us hand towels to use. These aren’t complaints from us bc these things did not interfere with us having an amazing time in Port A. Overall, it was good!

I traveled with my daughter and her friend. The area was safe. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The kids loved the Texas waffles and the pool. The hotel was close to gas stations and beach access via car. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. We will definitely stay here again :)

Hotel has been freshly painted. Parking lot is well lighted and taken care of. Smoking allowed only outside. Continental breakfast had good variety. Pool was nice. Beds were comfy but very high off floor. You may want to pack a foldable step to help get in bed and/or dog steps for fur babies. Floors swept but not always mopped. So slippers,socks or flip flops recommended. Supply of shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee and cups is good. Ice machine is hit or miss. Linens were clean and smelled fresh. AC was ice cold. Pet charge was lower than many other hotels. Blackout curtains in rooms. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I would have liked to be closer to the main beach, but the hotel was very clean and comfy. Staff was very kind. Enjoyed the pool table and ping pong with kids before going to bed. I haven't found a better hotel in the area.

Pool and TT table there for show only, staff did not allowed my kids to play it and just laying. We asked for play at 9:00am and they told we can play after 10:00am. When we went after 10:20am they told us to come after 2:00pm. They should have told us it's only for display purpose and not for play.

Ms. Tracy at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating to all of our needs throughout the weekend. Thank you! The hotel itself was clean, safe and close to the beach and stores. Also, the waffles for breakfast was a huge hit with the kids. My only recommendation would be to replace some of the outdoor chairs and to have ice available for drinking if your ice machine is broken.

This hotel is good if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep. Front office staff was friendly. The rooms were ok but smelled weird. The pool was absolutely disgusting. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all summer. Disappointing for us because my kids love swimming and it ruined their excitement when I wouldn’t let them go in. The pool was green. The breakfast was not as good as what previous reviews claimed to be. We will not be going back.

The stay with my grandchildren was good. We a nice clean room. The bathroom door needs work. The continental breakfast is very good and their pool clean and relaxing. It is just a block away from the street that takes you to beach. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

Though in need of updating especially the bathroom, no doubt, they have a great cleaning staff who really did a thorough job. We appreciate that. The front desk are great, very accommodating. The breakfast area since and bright and clean. They could use a few more choices and a few more tables, definitely enough room for some more breakfast tables. One negative was we had extremely noisy neighbors… kids and teens slamming doors, running around and talking very loudly into the wee hours of morning. Maybe a quiet hours sign would help.

Great stay staff was very friendly. Little out dated and ac wasn’t the best but we have stayed twice because it’s great for when we have our fur babies with us :)
