We have stayed at this location before-this time we came in for family weekend & we were very happy with our stay! It was clean, quiet & comfortable & it’s close to everything!

The rooms are fine- comfortable beds. Didn’t love the hard almost tile type floors for our toddler… The pool was 2 ft deep and was very murky and dirty. Booked this so our son could swim but the pool was not swimable at all.

We picked this hotel because it was in our area and because I had purchased swim gear for my family because it said it had a pool. After we arrived and got dressed to get in the pool we found out that the pool was closed down due to a violation of some sort. This is something that would be nice if it had been reported on this app so that I could’ve found a different hotel but it was to late to cancel.

When we booked, we searched for lodging for 5 people. Upon arrival we had a room that could only accomodate 4 people (2 double beds, no pull-out, no roll away available, etc.) I went to front desk, explained qe booked for 5 and asked what we can do to resolve. The amswer, "you can get another room"
Front desk was efficient not friendly. The pool is a wading pool for toddlers, 8 steps by 11 steps in dimension with a max depth of 2ft. Previous guests had been eating in the pool room with wet cracker crumbs and smooshed grapes about on the pool deck.
This was a stop on the way to our final destination, we are scheduled to stay here on the way home. I very much want to cancel and stay elsewhere.

This is a good option for visiting Lubbock. When everything closer to the college is booked, there are often rooms here at a reasonable rate if you book ahead. It's quiet and mostly families and an adequate breakfast. It's 6-8 minute drive from Texas Tech. The 3 newer hotels in this strip are all much nicer than the Motel 6 and worth the price difference.

The hotel as a whole was pretty good. It was what you expect for a LaQuinta. What caused me to give it a lower rating was what I feel was false advertising. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it had an indoor pool and being the end of summer break, we wanted one last time to swim. However, what the description fails to mention is this is not a real pool. They call it a children's pool, but even that is misleading. It is a small pool with a zero entry on one end and a MAXIMUM depth of 2'. Yes, you read that correctly...2 feet deep. There is absolutely no way for a family to enjoy it. We were very disappointed and will not be staying here again.

I wouldn’t know what the property was like because I never had the opportunity to stay the night. My review of hotel is strictly based off the management and manager on duty at hotel.
Booked room for travel stop on way to my wife’s mothers funeral. Due to complications and family coming in from out of country they had to move service one week later. But when contacting hotel management, a week and a half prior to today. There was no adjustment to the change of date for my reservation. Situation did not need further discussion! Policy was repeated to me and the conversation was terminated. My choices were to pay for room I will never stay in or cancel reservation and still pay full price. But give hotel a chance to make extra revenue on my room by reselling it. So I’m paying for one night stay tonight and then paying for room at another hotel next week that I will stay at. Was in hotel industry for 8 years. I understand making money and profits. But pre-pandemic I also understood making exceptions to guests with situations similar to mine. And as a manager I was able to accommodate those guests. Guess La Quinta has a different policy for the word Guest. Maybe it just a number on a night audit revenue list? Don’t recommend stay if your plans could possibly change. The front desk clerk was polite and directed me to manager on duty after explaining situation. So they at least have that positive review for their hotel.

This property does not change its sheets, towels, or cups! We checked into one room, and the sheets and pillows were covered in black hair and had obviously not been changed from the previous guest. The hand towel in the bathroom was wet and had makeup on it. We switched rooms, and the drinking cup in the bathroom that was supposed to be wrapped in plastic was unwrapped and stacked inside a wrapped cup, presumably it was a used cup. The carpets in both rooms were stained, filthy, and obviously not vacuumed. The staff was rude and couldn't care less. The staff member tried to open our hotel room door with his key without even knocking while I was in there with my children. Very disappointed in this hotel. We've stayed in several La Quintas in the past and have never had an issue, so I felt comfortable booking with this hotel while we were traveling.

First, this was a last-minute booking due to my family being tired from driving on June 11th. First, we arrived at 11:00 pm and checked in that process went well but as soon as we went into the room we all rushed for the bathroom and it had feces in it. I went in first and just flushed the toilet In a nurse no problem. As soon as I got out of the restroom my kids said wants on the bed there was dry blood on the sheets now they may have been washed but at this point I was like did house keeping quite on room 310 and we where 311. I called down to the front seat asked for a refund or another room all I was offered was to come down because they are the only staff there and get clean bedding to place myself which I did because we where all exhausted. We got about 5 hours of sleep and left at 5:00am, this experience has made me never wanting to stop in Lubbock TX. save some money stay in your car and find a safe place to sleep or try the Hilton next door. I would attach photos but it’s bodily fluids I’m sure nobody wants to see.
