Holiday Inn Express and Suites Longview South I20, an IHG Hotel

This was our second time staying at this hotel. Every time we visit we stay with them. The suite was huge and fit my family of 8 perfectly.

We stay here a lot in the 2 bedroom room, but this time it was sold out so we got a regular 2 queen room. Y’all! This room was huge! You could easily have a full size or queen air bed if you are a big family. It was definitely big enough for our 4 person family and it would work with 6 people as well. We didn’t get to use the pool and hot tub due to inclement weather, but the fitness center was used and I liked it.

This property was great for our needs as a softball family. It was clean, efficient, and quiet. They met all of our needs and the facilities were well kept.

The frost desk staff was very polite. They were able to accommodate a room change request to allow me to be on the same floor with other family member. Mattress was great. It was firm/supportive without being hard.

The staff was always very nice and attentive. The rooms were in need of some housekeepers who actually cleaned the room and not just " pick up or straighten up" the rooms. I changed rooms, so I'm basing my statement on more than just one room. The first room reaped of urine as though someone sprayed it in the air and my feet stuck to the entrance floor as I entered and exited the room. The second room smelled much better, but the phone has never been cleaned...dark waxy build-up on it, dust and sticky stuff (perhaps food residue from previous guests) everywhere including in the chairs, bathroom floor sticky near the toilet and the entry floor as well as the bathroom floor severely dirty. I used wet paper towels on the floor to make it durable for our stay in the room and Lysol wet wipes and disinfectant spray to clean anything we had to touch such as door knobs, light switches, telephone, TV remote, etc. The bed was pretty comfortable and my spouse said the breakfast was good; I didn't eat. However, you couldn't ask for nicer front desk staff especially the Black man that checked us in( I hope this is not considered racist) I just don't remember his name and would like him to get his due praise. The location was great for what we had to do and not too far from family.

Friendly staff, clean and quiet hotel. Rooms are big and spacious. I was there for a very special occasion and they took great care of my family and I.

I travel alot for work and live outta hotels. So im familar with good and bad hotels and service. Alot of them holiday inn expesses. Apon arrivial at about 7pm on a sunday. There was only 1 room left of the 1 bed style room i had reserved it was on the 1st floor in room 107. I requested to get a room on floor 2 or 3 but only 1 upgraded room was availble and they said i couldnt change rooms. I had to be up by 2am in a few hours for work. Room 107 wall is that of the front lobby area. First there was loud talking older people that were just hanging out and i could hear them through the wall. 30 mins later there was what sounded like a little kids birthday party with screaming kids. I called the front desk and ask the guy to tell them to use inside voices but the noise continued until 11pm. Than i slept for 3 hours and checked out. The front desk guy said he tried to get them to keep it down but personally i dont believe he did. I asked for a credit for my room due to the lossy stay but he said he couldnt.

We booked a Suite with an extra bedroom and it was plenty of room!! We enjoyed their Bountiful Breakfast and the facilities were great!! The only thing we noticed was one TV's had connection issues, there was a TV in the main room. My family had a wonderful stay!!
